|Allen Herrod||Forest Hill Request|
I saw your request for a photo in Forest Hill Cemetery and am contacting everyone on the Find-A-Grave website seeking photos in this cemetery.
I will be traveling through Birmingham within the next few weeks. If you contact office and get BLOCK# , and LOT #, I will gladly search for this grave. Please get as clear info as you can and put this in the burial plot info if you are manager, IF NOT, in the Photo Request additional info, thanks. Without a BLOCK and LOT, I have no real method of locating the burial place here. This is a LARGE cemetery.
You can call the cemetery office during business hours to locate the burial plot; emails do not work. However, the office did send me a map of the section that I am interested in. You may email me personally or place the information on the Find-A-Grave website but I may not see an update on the website if I am traveling.
You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or just reply to this email. If you write “Forest Hill” in the subject line, I will know to add your request to my list.
The telephone number to the Forest Hill Cemetery office is 205-592-7279.

|Amy Suzanne Martin||William H. Williams and wife|
Greetings, I submitted links but just wanted to draw your attention to William H. Williams 42432179 who is incorrectly liked to 42403897 as his spouse, she was in fact his granddaughter, not his wife. She was named after her grandmother, Frances Chaffin, which is why there are two women named Frances Chaffin Williams. I have asked the photographer to remove the photo of the headstone from the granddaughter's page and upload it to the grandmother, 160001392. Please contact me if I can answer any questions. Many thanks!

I thank you for entering my great grandparents on this site and pictures of their grave for which I have searched.
I would ask that you transfer the management of this memorial to me as they are the parents of my maternal grandmother.

Hi, I have seen you have entered some information on burial sites in Chatfield Cemetery, particularly the Moores. I have an ancestor buried there by the name of Isabelle Moore, wife of Charles Moore. She died 1946. According to records she is buried in Section 8. If you ever have the time, I would truly appreciate a picture of her grave. Thank you in advance. Tricia

Thanks for the input. I have updated the memorial to reflect his full name. Do you happen to know his birth/death dates or places? Or if he is related to the other Stotharts in this cemetery? As you can see, his tombstone doesn't have much information on it, and some of the other Stotharts in this cemetery are in unmarked graves. I would like to add as much information as I can to his memorial so as to best honor his memory. Thanks again for your help! :)

|Gary Jordan||Livingston-Williams Cemetery Hawkins County, Tennessee|
My name is Gary Jordan, I am in Fort Worth, Texas, I notice that you created the memorial for this cemetery. George Williams, and Sarah 'Sallie' Moore Williams are the two burials there that you identified. Can you tell me where this cemetery is located in Hawkins County, also if the graves were marked or if you are related and knew the dates. Look forward to your reply, if you like you can contact me direct. email@example.com

|Patty Foster||RE: Greenwood|
I'm going to contact Find A Grave on this one because if someone is looking for Mollie, not Mary, they won't find her unless they go look at everyone in the cemetery by the last name.

He is a brother of my Great-Grandfather and I would like to connect him with some of his children as well as his parents and siblings. I have researched this family for may years. Thanks John R. Adams

|Tina Burke||Robert L. Oakman|
I found the section of R. Lee Oakman and posted the section marker to Robert L. Oakman's memorial page. There was no grave markings in the section except for one. The grave of a 6 year old child by the name of Julien Bert Oakman. I will post those pictures under a memorial for Julien. If you would like me to transfer to you, I will be happy to do that.

I've been going through a website looking for Linwood obits, so there may be more to add later. It feels good to find info and also be able to link families as a result. Take care, Barbara. Linda

The plot had several other family members interred there, so I am making memorials for each of them and am happy to transfer them to you if you are related to them. I'll let you know when I have them all online.

No problem. Actually, I already had the photo. For some reason I skipped it when I was uploading photos, so I'm glad you asked for it or I wouldn't have noticed that it got skipped.

|Sinchi||RE: Lucius W Bryan|
I am new to find a grave. What do I need to do to take care of a grave site?
Added by Sinchi on Apr 15, 2013 6:48 PM
|Sinchi||Lucius W Bryan|
I think Lucius W Bryan might be Lucius M Bryan. The gravestone reads Max.
By any chance do you know if any other Bryans are buried near him? I have a Lucius Maximallian Bryan in my family tree but unfortunately the dates don't quite match.
Thanks for everything you do for find a grave.

|Merf||McKenneys at Greenwood Orlando|
Hi! I was wandering Greenwood today, and taking pics, and double-checking Find A Grave memorials... I noticed most of the McKinney's have been transferred to your care, but one seems to be left out. Mollie J McKinney (1862-1941) # 42398018 is buried right next to Benjamin McKinney. I just thought she may have been overlooked, so I wanted to let you know.

|Newbie Family Historian||RE: Vinson|
Hi Barbara - There may be a stone but just in a different area. However, there was a stone for William and Minnie Vinson (parents?). I looked hard in the area and was not able to find Sara Sue. Two other things:
- very close by was a stone for "Sarah Susannah Council" (b. Sep. 24, 1859, d. May 6, 1925, memorial # 12841211). I thought the similarity in names was interesting. I don't know if there's a connection.
- There is another man that takes pictures in East View. I think he's going to also look further for Sara Sue. I will also keep my eye out as I return back there.

I would not give up on it yet. She is on the cemetery list, and that section looks like it has had a hard time. Several broken headstones and an overgrown area. If I see anyone around the office I will inquire about the location to see if we can determine who she was buried next to. I believe it will be near the Hazelrigs. But, never can tell what will turn up.
Best regards to you and all yours, Bud
PS The first time I was looking for her I had a very unusual experience. BB

|Mary Fallwell Henderson||RE: Allens in Allen Cemetery|
Hi Barbara, you are very welcome! I enjoying giving back to others whenever I am able to do so. As far as I know I only have one relative in the Allen Cemetery, Mary P. (Martin) Falwell. She was the first wife of my great granduncle John B. Falwell. I believe she was probably related to the Allen family in some way. I have the original photos I took if you would like for me to email them to you.

Hope the move is going well!
