I am researching "Nichols" families in Christian County in the early 1800's. My ancestor was James Nichol, m. Rachel Sheridan. Their daughter Juliana (Julie Ann) married James Madison Martin in Christian County Aug. 1837.
Do you know of James Nichol, b. cir 1790, probably in Va.?
Any leads you can give me on this family would be greatly appreciated.

I have just transferred both Stephen & Deborah Hodgdon to your care. I'm very pleased that they are now with family where they belong.

You're very welcome. I just recently acquired Deborah's parent's memorials from someone leaving Find A Grave. Since they are a part of your family, just let me know if you would like them transferred to you.

I went to the cemetery this afternoon and found the Smedley Family plot. There is not Julia Smedley, but there is a Juliana Smedley. I have photographed all the headstones on the site and am posting them now.

|Kathleen Fleury Bilbrey||Hi|
I am glad to have been some help in a small way in searching to find his headstone and marker,
and I kinda feel myself she may have been buried there too by the initial stone that was by her sons grave .
Have a good weekend friend, and keep up the good work .
PS How did she come by her first name as William?I am curious.

Mr Stites headstone at Spring Hill was a loner except for a stone at the left side of his headstone was an initial stone with J H S written on it and his mothers headstone was nowhere to be found as was also said by the person who gave me the directions of which Section James was buried in . his mother was not buried anywhere there .

|SunCacher||RE: Nutt Family (Carmel, Indiana)|
Suzanne: I've made the transfers you requested. Also, I have pictures of the graves of Herman & Martha Nutt. I can add them if you'd like. For graves less than 50 years old, I prefer getting a request from a family member before I post them to findagrave.

I must apologize, I skipped your request this last weekend. It will be next week before I can get back to Cave Hill, but I will find and enter the photo.
