Oscar & Nellie (Hefferman) Eaks
Hi Dave,
I was beginning a memorial for Oscar and Nellie (Hefferman) Eaks when I discovered you have created one. To confirm, they are buried at Park Cemetery, Hancock County, Indiana, I took photos of their tombstone tonight. They are my nephew's gr. grandparents so I was doing this for him. Would you mind transferring their memorials to me. If you would rather not, I understand, please place their memorials in Park Cemetery. I would appreciate it!

RE: Thomas Williamson of Hampshire Co.
Sorry for the delay. The Ancestry trees that you refer are incorrect. There were two Williamson families descended from Willem Gerretsen who moved to Hampshire Co in 1750, the Thomas Williams that I refer to being the first. They came from New Jersey. Take a look at Further, existing records in Hampshire Co. suggest that these families were the first with the Williamson name in Hampshire Co. Moreover, though not conclusive, Samuel was a given name used by one of these families. I believe that there is a good possibility that Thomas Williamson is connected. Do you know if any of his direct male descendents have taken a Y-dna test?

Elijah & Louisa Cooper
I show that this couple are buried at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, IN. They have headstones. Elijah L. Cooper is buried in Lot 12 Grave 3 Section 2 and Louisa Jane Cooper is buried in Lot 12 Grave 4 Section 2.

If you could change your cemetery information.

Thank you

Thomas Williamson of Hampshire Co.
Are you researching the Thomas Williamson?
I have a Thomas Williams in Hampshire Co in 1750 when Geo Washington surveyed his land. My Thomas used the name Williamson in early documents. Based on one document I have found, he may have had a brother named "William Williamson, Jr." This William might be the father of the Thomas you have on Find a Grave. Note a John and William Williams acquired land on the Potomac River about the same time as my Thomas got his in 1750.

While adding pictures to the Matthews IOOF cemetery of all the Roberds that didn't have pictures I noticed that you didn't have Joe a Roberds in Matthews but as unknown Cemetery. He is at Matthews IOOF beside Anna E with Della and Sebert buried on the other side of the big Roberds stone. Della was an old Sunday school teacher of mine. I think I have pictures for all the Roberds listed at Matthews IOOF now. Just wanted to let you know RJ Careins #47427468

Matilda & Robt. Dean.
My cemetery records show them in Dean Cemetery. These were compiled by the Owen County local DAR chapter in 1983. , my understanding is they physically saw the stones unless stated otherwise.

The cemetery is very small, 8 stones listed. It was on the farm of Max Jordan in 1983.

It says also that most of these people can be identified in the Owen County History.

Hi, thanks for the info. I've linked her to her parents, and sent an edit to link Jonathan to Henry. Not sure about Jacob Buser. Found a few listed on this site, but dates didn't match.

Rev. Daniel Stevenson 71438125
I have been in search of Rev Daniel Stevenson's grave. I am doing a film on Union College and as an alumni of Union, have studied Rev. Stevenson for many years. His obit says he was buried in Lexington, but a search of the Lexington Cemetery finds not information about him or his wife, Sarah. I see there is an entry for him also in the Cinn. Ohio cemetery but no grave stone is recorded. Since he died in Barbourville, KY it would seem that Kentucky is a likely place for him and OHIO is a mistake. Are you related to him.

After reading your write-up on the subject it appears that his date of death should probably be 1724 rather than 1714, or am I missing something?

Job Stevenson 1783-1838 is buried in the Jones Graveyeard in Scott County KY next to Mary Jones Stevenson 1787-1838. The Jones Graveyeard is a very small graveyard not photographed with 9 cataloged burials...thx g

I would like to know if you have seen these stones. Peggy died in Madison or Hancock Co.; why was she buried here? The wife of Stephen was Mary Hendren and after he died she married a man by the name of Graham. Wouldn't that be the name on the stone?

Thank you for the transfers of Azuba, Wm. R., Phebe A., Mary, Dennis W., Levi H., & John Brown.
I have been trying to track down where they are actually buried. I found Azuba in Pipe Creek Union Cemetery, Lewisburg, Cass, Indiana, Find A Grave #88311983. William R. is probably buried there also.
I couldn't pin point Dennis W., however, I found that he died aft. 19 Jun 1900 which is the date of the Federal Census he was last listed on. He was living with his son Charles' family. Hannah his wife had d. earlier that year.
Levi's Find A Grave #34571035 has photos & good links to parents, wife, & children.
Thanks again, C

Thank you so much for all of these transfers. I appreciate all of your time & effort to do memorials for all of the Brown family & their children.
Thought you might want to know for your records, that Mercer Brown, b. 30 Oct 1792 & d. 1 Aug 1865 has a memorial Find A Grave #34571047 as he & his wife Nancy Thompson Brown are buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, Cass, Indiana. Nancy's Find A Grave #34571051.

I'll see about getting their children linked to them in the Mount Hope Cemetery. A few are already linked to them there.

Again, thanks so much. Carlene
