William Hedrick and family cemeteries
Hey Drew, I have several listings for the Hedrick family here on Find A Grave, and have been to many of the cemeteries. I also have a Hedrick family history going back to the 17th century in Germany, and will share if you like. My email is

Those cemeteries butt against one another and the only way you can tell which is which is to look along the fence that lines the street. I'll have to go back and see which side he is on. Evidently he is VERY close to the line for both.

Long Black Veil
Barbara Shrout Zimmerman

Barbara Shrout Zimmerman' death certificate listed her parents as Noah Shrout and Nancy McClain.

I know many times parent/parents or incorrect on death certificates.

Since I had been working the family of Henry Shrout, older brother of Barbara Shrout Zimmerman, I have a copy of the marriage record for Noah Shrout. Noah Shrout married Nancy McClain on Sept 1,1827, Bath Co, KY.

You might want to change Barbara Shrout Zimmerman' mother' surname from Markland to McClain.

Hope this helps.

William Wallace Hedrick
Hi Drew,
Do you know where William Hedrick Sr. and Elizabeth Dougherty Hedrick are buried? They are my direct ancestors and I'd love to tie their memorials to their parents.
