Frank Alfred Wod,euer
I corrected above name to Frank Alfred Widmeyer, and then noticed that 11 days later this same memorial was entered as #99135807, but with the right spelling, different photo.
Please merge the two memorials or delete the duplicate.
Thank you.

Emma Pauline Sell, Kuck
Hello, Could you please edit Emma's memorial page at the Redwood Falls Cemetery that you added to reflect her maiden name of Sell. Born to Julius Sell and Whilhelmia Julia Ann Krassin, Sell. Thank You so much. She and her sister Edith were married to my two GG Uncles, Henry and John Kuck. I have added the names, connections and new photos provided by the Sell sisters niece to find a grave so they all pull up under the Redwood Falls Cemetery Index on Find a Grave. Hopefully I did it correctly as this is new to me. Sincerely, A Kuck (Cook) Descendant.

Hi; I just wanted to let you know that if you feel inclined, you can link up Lee Guggisberg with his parents via the memorials I recently made for them, buried at Crestlawn cemetery in Redwood Falls, MN. Hope you are enjoying the findagrave web site! :-)

RE: Smart family in Morton
Harriet, I'm not directly related. It's my stepfather's family, but I'd be happy to manage them if you wish. Thanks!

You mentioned in your bio that you and your husband know a lot of families.. by chance do you know any Brazil's.. all my relatives on that side that were located in Illinois are deceased and I've always been curious about their history...

Thank you

St. Patrick's Cemetery
Glad to correct any and all errors! :-) I sure make my share of them it seems. I blame it on senility, dementia, and old age. :-)

That is great that you are working to improve this site. I had just the basic info to start it. It takes others, like yourself, to make it more complete and accurate.

Thank you for ALL U DO!

RE: Clarence Diekmeier
Thank you so much for contacting Wilhelm's and adding the notation about his remains being moved.
Have a great day.

RE: clarence Diekmeier
I'm sorry that I misunderstood your comment about not changing the cemetery. Did you mean Wilhelm's Portland Memorial?
As we know, a lot can happen in 39 years. He could have been moved later to be with his parents and wife.
If you call Wilhelm's, and he is still interred there, please let me know and I will remove my comment on his photo.
We both want the same thing in the end, to place him in the correct mausoleum.
Thanks for your help.

RE: Clarence Diekmeier
I am guessing from your reply that you have not changed the name of a cemetery before. It is very simple:
On the memorial page, just above the cemetery name is an "Edit" button. Click that and the next screen shows "Cemetery Burial", click "Continue",
this next screen will show the current cemetery name. Erase it and type "Mount" in the space, click enter and Find A Grave will list all cemeteries in Oregon that start with the word 'Mount'.
Go down the list to "Mount Crest Abbey Mausoleum" and click it, then click "Save Changes".
The cemetery name is now changed.

Thank you so much.

Thank you for the obituary. If you know where his wife is buried, I would like to link their pages together. I didn't find a page for her on Find A Grave. If you have her obit which mentions her place of interment, I would be glad to make a page for her and link it to her husband's page.

Peter Joseph ("PJ") Braun
Danke shoen for Margaret (Landers) Guggenberger memorial
Harriet... I've enjoyed our exchange of e-mails about this Find A Grave memorial, but now it's time to make my gratitude for both your efforts to initially create this memorial AND THEN for your willingness to transfer her over to my care.

I'll be looking through the rest of my family archives to see if I have any others I can lean on you for. You're one of the kindest non-family contributors I've worked with in months!

Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland
Pfc Raymond O. Hopp
Pfc Raymond O. Hopp was a soldier in Company K of the 179th Infantry Regiment 45th Infantry Division. He was killed in Sicily on 14 July 1943. Pfc Hopp was fist buried in the small American cemetery at Comiso airfield on 16 July 1943.

Pfc Hopp was reburied in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in grave F-70-834. After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in the Morton City Cemetery in Morton, Minnesota.

Over 1,200 men and women were buried in the GELA Cemetery between July 1943 and 1947; after the war they were reburied in one of the European cemeteries operated by the American Battle Monuments Commission or repatriated and buried in the States.

I am writing a book about the GELA Cemetery and want to include the picture you took of his grave. Can I have your permission, of course you will be credited and notified when the book is finished next year (2013).

thank you
