|Jason Simpson Skinner||Thank You|
I wanted to thank you personally for posting a copy of my grandfather's (James Simpson Skinner, Sr.) obituary. I had never seen or read it until stumbling across it on this website. I didn't know much about him, or much of my daddy's (William Simpson Skinner) family, since my father was 4 years old when his father passed, and I was 13 years old when my father passed. I have pieced together much about my father's family from this website and from speaking with other members of the Skinner family (such as Jewell Skinner Tindall), who knew my grandfather. So, thank you, thank you, thank you for taking time to post this.

|Sandra Camille High||Re: cemeterry photo|
The photo was taken by myself and a friend who went to the hospital for the information. Mrs Gladys Rowan, registrar there, told us the grave sites with those same numbers of a lot of the old ones was not my Adeline's grave. She said the graves were moved from the hospital grounds and was in an area so grown up that we wouldn't be able to get in. Fraustrated with the whole thing, I chose to memorialize her at that particualar number that had origianlly been the number given her grave. These various grave sites of the state hospital at Chattahoochee in Gadsden Co needs to be investigated and researched. Our people are there somewhere and they can't really seem to tell us just where. We really decided that perhaps they hadn't been moved as should have been and may be in the fenced yard of one of the prison buildings we could see from the hiway. Those grave sites need to be found and preserved.... as graves are.

Is the cemetery photo you posted for Thomas Henry Murray at Florida State Hospital a general photo or is his specific grave shown?
Whatever the answer thank you for posting the photo.

|Karen Troxel||Re: 51801163 / Olive Mae Lowmaster Reigel|
You posted one of the photos on Olive's memorial that isn't a close-up of her headstone. Is that a general photo one of the cemeteries at Florida State Hospital or a general photo of the cemetery #3?

I made the changes you wanted, it so much easier to do corrections if you use the edit key at the top right corner it will send the link to the person doing the correction. It's no big deal but some people won't do the changes unless you send them a message through the edit key. Have a great day, Cat

I am glad to be of assistance with the picture. He is buried in a double plot and the other side has Yvonne Lufriu's name but no date of death is listed.

|Donna Maines||RE: Angie Ferrera|
You are very welcome. I am happy to have found her for you and your husband. She is in the Veterans Section - was her husband a veteran. As you can see, the right half of the stone has no marker and there were no other Ferrera markers around her. Happy hunting! Donna

|Betty W||Woodham and Skinner families|
I see where you posted a couple pictures for Sarah Martyn Woodham Skinner on the Find A Grave website. I am researching this branch and was wondering if you could tell me which Skinner she was married to and had the children by? My GrandMother God Bless her Soul was a Skinner. You may email me privately if you would like at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you very much,

|graveyardgrl||RE: Alva pictures|
You're welcome--It was difficult to get a good photo of Elvira's marker due to the deterioration of the engraving & finish on the stone. It was also rather windy out and no matter how much i tried clearing off both markers, by the time I would take a picture a little something would have landed on the marker.....If you have not seen it, Hermosa is a beautiful place and is well cared for.
