Thomas A Reed
The Thomas Reed listed as a son of Aaron and Lydia Reed is not the right Thomas Reed. The correct Thomas Reed is died in January 15, 1865 in Nashville, Tennessee and is buried at the Nashville National Cemetery. He was wounded during the Battle of Nashville and died in a military hospital at Nashville.

Ida Mae Lane

You created a memorial for her too - Lane is her maiden name so I created another memorial for Ida Kent. Never dawned on me that a memorial would be in her maiden name.

If you would like to copy the obit and links from the memorial that I did, I would be happy to delete mine.

Thank you!

Best wishes
High Plains :)

Jackie, you may be interested to know that family
members will put a wreath on Walter's grave for the program "wreaths across america". Just think Walter was lost to us and found and this year. We had family living in Danville Ill. and did not know he
was buried there until I started this genealogy. We are all thrilled and appreciate your help with his
bio. Thanks a lot and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Hello, I have uploaded an obit for what I can only assume matches the memorial of this person that you manage. Perhaps you could update the memorial if you believe it is correct? If not I can delete it. :) Thanks!

Mae Grant Riggs
Hi Jackie I have found an obit for Mae Grant Riggs that says she is buried in Monongahela cemetery. Can you change the cemetery on the memorial since I transferred the memorial to you I can't make changes. I don't know why she isn't with her husband in Howe cemetery but she isn't buried there.

Jackie, Thank you so much. I found the bio
on line exactly where you said it would be.
You are so nice to have done that for all of
us. It really meant a lot to me to see that
writeup. I had no idea he was in the Civil
war, etc. I did not have any information about him. Once again thank you. Let me know if you
need anything I can do for you.

Jackie, Thank you so much for your answer.
I am new to Find a Grave and when I go on his
page it says maintained by Jackie Gold.
Walter had 8 children. Robert Gregory was his
4th child and my 3 great grandfather. I have pictures of them.
Which cild of his was your 3rd g-grandfather. I am very interested. I saw one of his children was
named Jackie. Were you named after her or him.

Thank you so much. This is so much fun.

RE: Joseph Spandel
Hi -

Jordan is a very small town and I visited there every year from the time I was a baby until I moved to the Twin Cities and then visited my Grandmother Sophie Dubbe most every week ... I was confused a bit about seeing there was another Sophie Dubbe ... I called my mother and she was surprised to hear me mention "Aunt Sophie."

I had only known of my mother's mother, Sophie, and had never heard of my mother's Aunt Sophie. Apparently she passed away a few years before I was born. But ... my mom had a good time recalling memories of her Aunt Sophie and telling me all about her.

Thanks, again!

Joseph Spandel
Hello -

I was just telling my sister that I remembered going to my Great Grampa Spandel's funeral and did a quick Internet search to find out what year he passed away so I could know how old I was at the time. I found the photos and information you posted. Thanks for that!

My mother's mother was Sophia Spandel ... daughter of Joseph Spandel ... son of Joseph Spandel.

Dennis Stackley
RE: Stackley
Hi Jackie,

Before we delete the memorial for Mary Stackley at the Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, we should confirm she does not have a grave marker on her plot at Ebenezer. I can try to do that the next time I am in that area. Do you have a more specific location such as section, plot, space, etc for Mary at Ebenezer? Also, do you have a scanned version of the map of the cemetery?

Yes, I would like to receive any of the Stackleys you currently have. That would be great.
