Cave Hill National cemetery
If this cemetery is in Kentucky I would love to have Joseph Welch's memorial transferred to me. This is the furthest back I have been able to go for my Welch line. No idea who Joseph's parents are. I do know his widow and 3 children relocated to Franklin Co., Ind. If you have any help for Joseph I would love to have it. Thank you again for the transfer. happy hunting chrissie

Judith Huddleston Dean
I am a direct descendant of Judith Huddleston and Enos Dean Sr. I have a great deal of information on their family. There were eleven children that I am aware of. I am happy to provide more information if you are interested. Judith had a sister Rhoda who married Henry Paddock - Judith is available on Findagrave as well.

I am looking for the parents of Enos Dean Sr. Any information is appreciated. I am thinking maybe Samuel Dean Jr. (1746-18??).

Judith Huddleston married Enos Dean in First Stanford Baptist Church, Bangall, Dutchess NY on November 11, 1797. Her father was George Huddleston (1733-1793) and her mother was Sarah Crandall (1737-18??).

Can you please change Judith's middle name to Huddleston? The name also appears as Huddlestone, Hoddlestone, and other spellings, but always with a "T".

Welch Family
I noticed in your bio that you have Welch as a family you research. From what area of the country does that Welch family come?

Robert Drexler
Nancy Carpenter Day
Greetings from Pasadena, Maryland. I am researching Nancy Carpenter/Day to see if she is related to my wife through her Henry Family Line in Killingly Connecticut.

My research shows that a Nancy Henry married a Elisha Carpenter in 1828. I also noticed a Nancy Carpenter married a Charles Day in 1833 in Killingly Connecticut. I am wondering if your Nancy Carpenter/Day is the Nancy Henry I am looking for.

How sure are you that Nancy Carpenter Day is buried in the Old South Killingly Cemetery? I have located a Nancy Carpenter Day that is buried in the North Burial Grounds in Providence, Rhode Island. Could they be the same person?

Thanks for any help you can provide me in tracking down Nancy Henry.

Duplicate entries
Since my previous message, I've come across more duplicates - one will be in Deerfield Cem and one in Oak Grove. Perhaps one of you picked up the wrong cemetery when you did your entries. It's easy to do - I've done it myself. But rather than my sending you a message each time, you might contact "Dave" on 43783284 to see which one of you used an incorrect cemetery.

Duplicate Aaron M. Decker?
In looking for my ancestor, I saw 2 entries for Aaron M. Decker, same birth/death dates but different OH cemeteries. Memorial 43783283 has photos of the headstones. You might wish to check your cemetery. Would be a heck of a coincidence.

Chuck Wiseman
RE: Chauncey Dean
Chauncey D. Dean married Margaret (Maggie) Mc Carty 10MAY1885. She was the daughter of Edward Mc Carty who was one of the earliest settlers to the Sand Creek area. They had 4 children, Florence, Carrie, Ella and Norman.
Chauncey is my great grandfather Charles H Dean's brother. His middle initial is Charles H and not Charles P.
Charles and Chauncey had adjoining farms.
My mother and father knew the family very well. My father grew up in Sand Creek.

Other corrections to the page:
Willis Henry Siler not Willies.
Helen Adella Lewis not Adele Lewis.
Clara Amellia Dean not Clara Amelia.

The Wisconsin Historical Society has a "Biographical Sketch" on Chauncey's father Lafayette Dean. They have Chauncey's name translated from the marriage record wrong. They have it as Chancy Deane instead of Chauncey Dean.

Thanks for the opportunity to offer corrections,

Chauncey Dean
Under Enos Dean in Oxford village cemetery it reads that Chauncey Dean married Margaret Cartwright. He actually married Margaret McCarty.

Horatio Day 1779 -1852
Hello, First, let me say thank you for all your contibutuions to Find A Grave. My primary research is the Day family. Horatio Day is buried in the Deerfield Cemetery in Portage County, OH The picture on Find A Grave is only postage stamp size and does not enlarge. It would be greatly appreciated if it could be reloaded. Do you by chance have a Lora Day in your tree? Born 1900-1912 or so.
