RE: Elizabeth Clapham Strong
Dear Dawn,

You're very welcome! Elizabeth is the sister of my 3x great grandfather. Unfortunately, the stone was nearly impossible to read. However, it looks like it says 43 years, 8 mos & 21 days. That would put her birthday about December 22, 1820 which fits with what information I had about her being born about 1821. This cemetery is extremely small and dilapidated. I wasn't sure if I would find her because most of the stones within her section were worn smooth. There were also a lot of missing stones. I'm so glad I was able to find hers! I'm also glad I was able to share.

Hi Dawn,
I have deleted my duplicate as you requested. Thanks for letting me know. I do not make a duplicate on purpose, but sometimes just do not think to check when I am downloading several hundred graves.
I did have a photo of the grave and have posted it to your memorial.
Thanks again, Connie Sims

John Rueter
Emma Lantz's dates
Dawn,
You asked where my dates for Emma came from. I note that the Blair cemetery's website shows her DOD as 11/1/1929, but buried 11/22/1929 so your DOD of 11/18/1929 seems more likely. That website also shows her DOB as 1/1/1852, which always looks like they really only knew the year. I don't recall where I got my DOB, but I'm glad to use yours as more reliable.
John

Hi Dawn - Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, I did hear from PEO which did confirm that Evangel Wisdom was an active member at the time of her death. Sounds like PEO has a long, successful plan for assisting young women's careers. George

RE: ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
Thank you. Many served in the military but have no indication on the grave site, so we are asking as many as we can to help identify those.

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or no of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Looks like this may have merged from the known cemetery to the Burial Unknown, but the cemetery was not updated.

Do you remember where you took the gravestone photo? It would be good to have the cemetery updated.

Thanks so much for the picture of the headstone. We have hit another roadblock on the search but this is a help! I wish I knew where his wife, Sarah was buried. He has a son buried here in Missouri. John R. is my husband's great great grandfather.

I am trying to compile my Aunt's (by marriage) research information on the Drakes. The following is where the info came from.

This Drake Information received from Tom Shotwell in 1984; also family information on the Jesse and Alice C. Ward Kinman Family of which he was one of the siblings. Tom wrote, "Some of this material came from a small book THE DRAKE FAMILY IN NEW JERSEY. Most reports on the linage of the Drakes is doubtful because of the many con games connected with Sir Francis Drake's fortune."

Thank you so much for adding the info to Jesse's memorial. Do you think I should continue and put this information on Jesse's memorial?
