I found them! The name is spelled Mondoux on the stone. There also is an infant buried with them, but they are not her parents? Granddaughter perhaps?

Why do you think Joseph Splett might be Joseph Spleet When it says Joseph Splett on the head stone?

mt olivet photo requests
Could you please use the cemetery database below to get the burial locations for your Mt Olivet photo requests? It keeps the volunteers, me included, out of the Office and makes it more efficient and can get pictures taken faster.

Thanks again

Pics for Heavenly Rest
I do pictures for FindAGrave and you have requested one or more pictures in a Bay County cemetery. Unfortunately the cemetery where the tombstone is located is not indexed in a public forum. If you could contact the cemetery and get your loved one's location—section and row or plot—I will attempt to fulfill your request. You can locate an address, email or phone number by googling the cemetery's name or by checking the Bay GenWeb site at
As you can appreciate I'm not able to walk the whole cemetery for you.

Klepaczyk Family
Hi Lisa,
I have been doing genealogy on my wife's family (Klepaczyk) and noticed you manage three in Mt Elliott Cemetery. If they are not relatives of yours, I would appreciate it if you could transfer them to me. If you would like to keep them, I can forward info on them to you. Thank you either way.

The Hanson's
I transfered all the Hanson's to you.

I'm wondering why you don't put a flower on the memorial you register. Call me crazy but, I feel I am burying a soul again and they deserve a remembrance, as well as a child needs a teddy bear and a soldier must have a flag.

RE: Thank you - Benjamin Booth!
Well said Lisa - I like your choice of words. Yes, I feel it is important to capture a photo of the resting place & area in a beautiful cemetery even if there is no headstone. I obtain plot maps from the church or city/twp offices and make a special effort to identify the area. I love the walking exercise, fresh air, & local history knowledge which I've gained as a bonus.

RE: Thank you!
You are very welcome; I noticed when I transferred Charles that Colleen had loaded the same stone photo three times, so I shot her a quick note to ask her to delete two of them. For some goofy reason, F.A.G. doesn't let either the creator or the person maintaining a memorial to delete photos added to it, only the person who added the photos.

Let me know if you find any others that you would like transferred over. Robin
