|personna||Rafol Yasulaitis - # 59806017 - Lithuanian National Cemetery|
I started building a family tree for close friends years ago, but only the maternal side of the family as my friend's paternal parents were from Lithuania. The only information to go from was a name and the fact that her father was born in Chicago.
Last week I started updating files on the maternal side and for the heck of it, decided to do a quick search on the original spelling of her dad's name. OMG!! Several records popped up, among which was the Find A Grave memorial. You have no idea how excited I was to see the memorial you created. And photos - it has pictures of the tombstone, making it that much more real.
As far as we know, Rafel Yasulaitis had one son, my friend's father, who is now 92 years old living in Phoenix, AZ. I am giving my thanks to you before writing to my friends to let them know I've found the father/grandfather. I am so happy and grateful to you, my fellow Find A Grave member, for making this possible! You have made the Laitis family very, very happy. ~ Nancy

Hello. I was researching my great grandmother, June Leneve Abner, and noticed that she is listed in FindAGrave as June Levene Abner. I tried to edit, but this did not take for some reason. Maybe if you try to correct this misspelling, you might be successful. Thank you for your help!

If you use the "edit tab" on the memorial you can make the changes yourself. All I have to do is accept them or decline.

Hi Arlene. Just photographed a bunch of pictures from St. Adalberts cemetery. You already had Stanislaus and Malgorzata with pictures. I added a picture to your memorial for Frank, their son. Also in the same area was a Ronald Krystowiak ((1935-1942). Do you know who he belongs to? Frank Germanson

Hi Arleen. Thank you for taking pictures of two of my family markers. I would respectfully ask if I may take management of them as I have other members of that family to link up to. They are in Lithuanian National Cemetery, Justice, IL. #61570177 (Bob R Mitchell) and #61539423 (Agnes Mitchell Swaw). Thank you so much for you time.

How about just deleting your entries so there isn't two memorials for each person? Then you don't have to worry about transferring them. I added the pictures of their graves that you took to my memorials.

Would you be willing to transfer these memorials to me. Andrew and Florence Kunkel are my grandparents. I entered memorials in 2011 for them without realizing that you had already entered them.

Thank you for connecting my aunt with her parents and adding the information I sent you. I do appreciate it. I know you follow the Find A Grave guidelines which is why I didn't ask for a transfer of my aunt. But if you would be willing....it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and happy Holidays. Kathy
