Are you sure she should be listed in the Freeman City Cemetery? In the RootsWeb project I see her listed in the Shartner/Mennonite Cemetery. I believe that is where she belongs. Thanks

RE: Dircks Family
Hi David,

This would be a Great Uncle 3 times removed, so
no need to transfer the memorial. I was just doing some additions to the memorial. Please finish adding the additional data.

Thanks for all that you do.

Remember Them Always
RE: Mennonite Cemetery
This site is wonderful! It has been so helpful in my family history search. As for Mennonite Cemetery, I just fulfilled some requests. I have no relatives there. So no transfers needed. ;) Thanks for the offer, though!

Alfred Johnson
Hello David,
Thank you for the photo of Alfred Johnson's grave. I have a feeling that this is one Johnson I may not be related to, but it is so hard with so many people of very same name and very close birth dates. The Alfred Johnson that I have in my ancestry was born in 1886 (I have a WW I draft registration that clearly shows 1886)
I would like to thank you anyhow for your time and effort in getting this and the other photos from the Komstad Cemetery.
I remember going there as a young child. My grandfather and grandmother had a farm very close to the Komstad Church. That church was the one my father grew up in. He became a missionary to Nigeria, where my brother, sister and I were born.
Since I now live in California, it is a bit of a journey for me to get to S. Dakota, but someday I would really like to go back one more time. For now, I so much appreciate the photos you have taken for me.

Thank you for finding Hanna Johnson grave
Hello David, There is nothing that can compare to seeing a photo of the person I am researching or a photo of their grave. Hanna was my cousin on my grandmother's side of the family. This photo gave me actual dates (I had just the years) of her birth and death and also the actual spelling of her first name. It is also interesting that I had her listed as Margaret Hanna(h) and the grave has Hanna M. So your photo sorted out a few key facts. Thank you so much for your time and effort to get this photograph. I appreciate it.

RE: Catholic Cemetery (Dolton, SD)
I asked that the 2 cemeteries be merged and that the name be tweaked to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery with an AKA Catholic Cemetery (Dolton), at which point their will be instead of 63, 124 memorials....DC

RE: Catholic Cemetery (Dolton, SD)
I think we are definitely talking about the same cemetery here, the memorials are all virtually the same except for the "value added" family info. that I have submitted for the Kappenman Clan. We can do several things, tweak the name Our Lady of Lourdes (Catholic) Cemetery with an AKA for Catholic Cemetery (Dolton), you can remove your memorials from Catholic Cemetery and I can resubmit my request that it be removed or we can have them merge the two then you can look at everything side by side and eliminate the have more graver experience, so I will leave the decision to you. But I do have family in this cemetery and would like it to be as correct as possible....let me know what you want to do....thanks...DC

Catholic Cemetery (Dolton, SD)
If you agree, I can submit a Name Change something like Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery, or we could do Our Lady of Lourdes Cathloic Cemetery AKA Catholic Cemetery (Dolton, SD)...something like that.....they are very slow to do corrections, the one burial about 3 months ago in this cemetery was moved to Our Lady of Lourdes and I submitted a delete cemetery request, obviously it wasn't done!

Catholic Cemetery (Turner Co., SD)
Hi, have you seen the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery listing, I am thinking that it and the Catholic Cemetery are one in the same....let me know what you think, almost all of the markers are the same. The Kapepnman Family donated the original land. My great uncle was a Kappenman, his parents are buried in this cemetery....thanks...DC
