Are you a relative of mine or Elijah Jackson Taylor? I would like to manage his grave memorial if you are not. I read all your messages and see that you have taken a lot of pictures. I did the same in the past but now I have slowed down due to age. HA Will be joining my ggrandfather Elijah one of these days. Frances Taylor Keenan #332921079

|scmpbell||Fannie A Canaday Lucas|
I have been unable to find Ms. Fannie thus far in a physical search of the cemetery. Can you give me any other clues (other family names associated with the plots where she might be buried, husband's full name, children's names, etc.)?

|Sylvia Whaley||Fielding Mayhugh|
I have looked for this gravestone a number of times and this weekend I checked with the Elliott Grove cemetery board. There is no gravestone for Fielding Mayhugh in Elliott Grove cemetery. Sorry.

|Curt Phillips||Christie (Eriksdatter) Klungness Grave Photo|
I could only find one grave marker with the name Klungness in the West Palisades Cemetery. No first name for Klungness; you will see another name (Martin Gunderson) on the top.

I was lucky enough to be able to get out to the Potter Valley cemetery today... a glorious sunny morning. The folks at the Mendocino Co Historical society now have plot maps of the PV cem. so I was able to locate Jasper's grave easily. I I hope you like The photos. I also took a photo of wife Lenora if you would like it. If you'd kindly put in a request then i can upload it for you.

Hmm... I don't think so, Just Helena and Theodor. If she is buried next to him maybe they didn't have enough money to get her a stone or inscribe on Theodor's?
You could always give the church a call and see if they know. If there is a stone for her let me know and I'll head back up and take a ppicture of it!

There was another name on the headstone though. It was on the left side. Helena Ziebarth? I can't really make out the last name. Would you like me to send you the pictures I took of that?

|Rachael Lane||Fannie A. Canaday Lucas|
I could not find Fannie Canaday Lucas's grave marker. I have a call into the Cemetery Association to see if they can help find the grave. I did come across several other Lucas family grave plots and one Canaday family plot. I will add their names to the cemetery listing and add their photos. Hope they are part of your family.

|Maria Gilardin||Potter Valley photo request|
I received the photo request and would like to help. There are two issues.
We have road alerts due to snow and traveling there with 2 weeks may be impossible.
Also - I'm a new volunteer and saw that there are over 1.000 graves at that location. Do you have advice how to find Mr. Jasper Rains among so many??

You're right, her marker was next to her husband's, and I thought you might want it!

Thank you, I located Ingeborg's headstone and I would imagine it was fairly close to Tollef's; however, it would be super if there was a photo that should both my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother's final resting place. And the photo of Ingeborg, very special indeed. I've been working on my family tree for quite a while and thought I had most all the old photos, but these two photos were a great find! May I ask where you found the photo of my Great Grandfather, Tollef Tollefson? I am so appreciative that I was able to come across his headstone and it looks as though it may be in Norweigian, I think. By chance, is there another tombstone for Tollef's wife, Ignaborg? I took a photo of Leo Taylor's wife Mildred's marker today after I took a shot of his marker. Do you already have it? If not, go ahead and request it with findagrave, and I'll send it right out.

If you descend from this lady, who is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Spokane WA, then we are distant cousins. Her photo looks alot like my aunt Mary Dean! Mary Dean and I both had the maiden name of Elliott, as did Iva May's mother, "Betty". Love to discuss! Pj
