RE: Joe B. Gutierrez
Hi again!

Just walked the ~1/4 acre section Joe is in (roughly 25 x 50 yards). I found only one other Gutierrez site and it was quite a ways from Joe. Married couple Enrique 1918-2000 and Trinidad 1918-1988. Even though it's mostly Hispanic (and Italian) so far I haven't seen that many Gutierrez's at St. Mary in my travels. I will still keep an eye out in other sections. Best regards, Doug

Hi, WD!

Well, I don't know about my being "special" but some folks in Illinois and Oregon have been a huge help for me in the last month as I get started upon my own genealogy trek. I owe some payback and you're one of the "lucky" ones - I hope to help out even more.

RE: Joe B. Gutierrez
Hello, WhiteDove!

Glad to be of help! There are several Gutierrez locations - a least 13 according to Billion Graves. A database (somewhat inexact) compiled in 2005 has 7. I don't recall any close to Joe when I was there yesterday, however, I wasn't looking for family "help" to find Joe's as his is so prominent. The headstones on either side of Joe were not Gutierrez. I still need to find some other folks at St. Mary and will "snoop" around in the near future to see if Joe has relatives near his site. If he was married when he passed away, would you happen to know his wife's first and maiden names? Also, could Joe's middle name be his mother's maiden name? (mine is...). Best regards, Doug

Just wanted to say..
Hey, this is the Grand-daughter of the guy that's in your grave thing. I joined this thing to tell you that this it my grandpa or uncle, since they're brothers and they kind of look the same.. so I just wanted to tell you that he's not dead. He's 64 right now and healthy. And his name isn't Daryl, because that's my fathers name. Thanks.

RE: Nicholas Paniagua, Sr.
Use the edit tab and request it. I have no problem transferring, it is just easier that way.

RE: Estella Paniagua & Nicholas Paniagua
For whatever reason, the cemetery didn't have Estella listed in the computer. The lady that helped me find her grave looked in a manual index file and found her. Go figure! I'm glad that I've been able to help you.

Hi WhiteDove;

Wanted to let you know what I found out. The Daryl G. Beswick who is buried in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Falconer NY may or may not be your friend and there may be no way of finding out. The cemetery was privately own and as with many things in the last 25 five years have gone bankrupt, and was taken over by the town. We went to the Town clerks office and they only have his grave site registration info. No obit or other information was available. If you're sure this is your friend I'd be happy to transfer the memorial to you. Please let me know.

Love My Ancestors
Requesting Memorials
If you read my bio it tells you how to go about requesting a memorial to take care of. In my account, and according to the guidelines of Find A Grave, you have to be within the 4 generations of your ancestors. And I have to know how you are related, so I know. But all - for mine - have to be through the "edit" tab.

I'll have to go to the cemetery to ask a few questions but I will try to find out for you.
