Thanks for this "proof of burial" photo of this Civil War soldier. This will make it so much easier to get his grave registered on the new registry at the East Tn. History center. Thanks

PJ, Thanks and I'll do them justice. I just found out that these two are actually brothers. I found a sister-in-law living in Kingsport that I'll go and visit later this week, she has photos to go along with info she'll tell me. Hopefully one day we'll meet, if we haven't already. Have a wonderful holiday season, Allen

Thank you on Samuel Riddle and glad my info posted will help you. Im still missing 2 of his siblings one is Nancy (Riddle) Mickle and the other is their brother William Riddle and his wife Mary Lewis. Mary was the sister of Mcager Osborn Lewis . I think his son is listed in same cemetery as Samuel or it is Older McCager. I forget which one is there but elder Mcager's wife is Frances Johnson. I dont know if she is buried there too.

Someone contacted me about your memorial for Samuel Riddle since we seem to have a duplicate. I had mine listed in a different cemetery because it seems the Lewis Family cemetery went by different names in Ashe County. I changed the cemetery on mine but now there are 2 memorials for Samuel Riddle. Your is older than mine however I have all the info added to him and already have him linked to his family. I dont know if its possible for you to just add your tombstone to mine and then delete yours. This would be easier than me deleting mine adding the info all over again and asking for you to possible transfer the grave to me.
This is my Samuel Riddle memorial 94889609

I still am waiting on the call from Sharon Memorial Park. I am guessing they have forgotten about me.

Done! I added him to my virtual cemetery. But your right, he isn't "famous" for Find A Grave standards. He is more locally famous.

Daisy is a child of my great great Aunt's second husband with his second wife. So I would rather you did not transfer her to me. Thank you for the offer.
I have pointed out the duplicate memorials for John and Maggie. Thanks again.

I see you have posted a picture of John's marker at the Eden-Greenwood Cemetery. The memorial where you posted the picture is a duplicate. I'm hoping you will remove it from the duplicate memorial and place it on the original memorial which has a picture request. Thank you for you consideration.

Hello PJ. I have transfered you GGGrandfather to your account. I believe that relatives should have the honor of taking care of their ancestors memorials, no matter how far distant they are. If someone wants to take on the responsibility it should not be denied to them, have a great Findagrave day, regards.

|Anthony Swinger||Mae New (66468560)|
I'm one of Mae New's grand-nephews. Would you be kind enough to list her parents on her memorial?
Her father was James Anderson Gum (54966489) and her mother was Emma Hildebrand Gum (54966498). Both are buried at Stanfield Cem. in Dunklin County, MO.
Thanks very much!

Thank you so much for helping me with this. It's a great service and I appreciate your help more than you know. I'm currently working on ancestry on both sides of my family so I will certainly consider what you said about posting information. Thanks again.

|J. Bean||Plot Locations @ Sharon Memorial|
Just curious if you are still willing to take photos, with plot locations, at Sharon Memorial. I added several plot locations for family members after contacting the cemetery, and receiving the information, but none of the requests have been granted since. I understand that this is a very large cemetery, and that even with the plot location that the graves may still be difficult to locate, and that you may not be interested in looking for them. I can send you a list of my requests ("j.bean") and for my aunt ("sharon"), we work together adding our shared family members, all under her name onto the site, if that would make it easier for you, just contact me, and I would be happy to send you the information.
*Note: I just added 2 other family members, who I am in the process of contact the cemetery for plot locations.
