Hi Rick, I'm so excited to see all the photos of the Eakin family! My great-great-grandmother, Ida Eakin Napier, died just before my mother was born. We always heard that she was a "character" but never knew anything about her family. I would be glad to share info on her line if you are interested, and would absolutely love to hear anything you may know about her parents and siblings.

No problem. I've had these pictures on my computer and website (http://hank.deemer.com) and just go around to adding them to FindAGrave. I also just added one burial that was missed in the Bear Gap Quaker Cem. -- Susan Smith THOMAS, mother of Frankli and Elias who are buried there

Thanks Rick. I know there are a lot of duplicates because what I did was upload the entire cemetery registry spreadsheet from official records. It would have taken 100s of hours to input them all separately and find the duplicates. I've slowly been trying to find duplicates since the update and have removed about 30 or so. If you will give me a list of specific duplicates you are concerned about ill get them removed.

He must not have a headstone because the cemetery has no listing of him buried there. I know what the book says, but does it mean this cemetery? Just wondering.
for Camden's list of burials.
Are you related to Simeon? He is my 3rd cousin 5x's removed.

I will post the 2nd pic- if you don't like it- just remove it or I will. Also, I found the whole Downing Family and I am now putting them all in. You can take a look and see if anyone in there is helpful to your research. I had an inkling of what part of the cemetery they would be in and the moment I stepped in- there were two sites for the family . Michelle

I also took a close up of the inscription on the marker but didn't want to post it unless you wanted it. Thanks, Michelle

Thank you Rick. Margarett Ann Gray married James L. McGill 8/4/1856 in Mountain, Montgomery. I have that record. I have yet to find them in 1860. Thought it interesting she ws buried under her maiden name if this is the same Margarett Gray McGill. Will look at the record you mention. Some of this family was buried in the McGill Cemetery in Garland County. Some info attached to those records is incorrect. Anyway, maybe I will find them in time. Thank you so much for responding. Joyce

Are you by any chance kin to the Mcgill lines? I am trying to determine what happened to James McGill who married Margarett Gray. Would you happen to have her marriage to Mr. Price or know the date or what happened to James McGill?

You don't know me but I happened to be leaving my respects at all of the "Iwo Jima Flag Raisers" and I happened to see that you are there at each and every one of them. I respect what you do and keep it up. Our country needs me=ore people like you. A dear friend of mine was on Iwo Jima with these brave Marines and I mention this in my remembrances to them. He speaks of them often and in a very high regard. "Semper Fi" Well Done Rick!!!
