Update or Transfer Request
Gale, first off I would like to thank you for everything you are doing on findagrave. I know you must be inundated with requests and unfortunately I have 1 more. Earlier this month I had sent an edit to you to link a family member of mine to their parents. I do not know if you received it or not. I used the edit request tab to send that request. If you would not mind could you please link John W Matthews # 65295154 to his Father Asa Samuel Matthews # 90014562 and his Mother Georgia Ann Lovell Matthews # 90014577. Asa and Georgia are my GG Grandparents.

Gale, I will be happy to transfer your brother.

However, in the future for the good of all concerned, please use the SAC link with the memorial when requesting a change. Just click on the edit button that each memorial has. The improved edit function makes adding relationship links, correcting , adding information and transferring easier than ever. The edit function is now so much easier than messaging, please use it.

Thank you for adding his memorial gravestone photo, may I add it on Ancestry.com with credit to you? His father was my great uncle (Joe A Smith) by marriage and we have a lot of my Gray family buried in Blackwell. I would like to get as many of their gravestone photos for a family book as I am able to get. I live in Odessa, but don't get that direction very easily! Your help is appreciated! Lynda Fowler

You are right about the mother's name that could be George--my name is actually Johanna(pronounced John Anna) and all of life my family has called me John. When my nephew got married(40 yrs ago) he told his wife they would have to make a trip to see his aunt John. She said,"Don't you mean your uncle John?"Thanks for correcting the memorial.John

RE: J. L. Sutton
Gale,
Thanks for getting back to me quickly. I didn't think there was a headstone either. They were very poor and didn't have the money for a stone. So, did you have a cemetery record that stated he was buried there but without a marker? Thanks!
