Wondering if you are alright
Hi Amy:
Just checking on you to make sure you are doing okay. I have sent a bunch of changes the past week and haven't seen you online. It makes me a bit concerned because you are always so prompt and efficient. Is everything okay with you and yours?
God Bless,

Sarah Fogg

I wanted to ask you if you might remember the cemetery where you took the picture for Sarah Fogg's grave? I was told Sarah isn't in the cemetery, and I wanted to know if your picture was taken there and they might have the wrong cemetery.

Timothy Parker of Old Granary
Amy, Thank you for Timothy Parker! That helps me complete an extensive research project of Falmouth, MA mariners.

I have a copy of a church record that proves his birth, parents and siblings, and which I could upload to the memorial page. I am wondering - since the creator of the page is "inactive" if that is possible? Thank you.

RE: Franklin
Hiya Amy!

The Franklin Cemetery is pretty big and there are still plenty of monuments to photograph. I'm actually just trying to clear a small portion of my backlog of unposted photos. The Franklin shots I have are all over a year old. I'm down to about 80 images, which means that it will probably take care of 200-250 memorials since very few of them are for individuals - mostly family monuments. Over and above Franklin, I probably have over 10,000 unposted photos. I doubt if I'll be going back any time soon. I can tell you that I've got a LOT of Colby monument photos. If I just posted them and didn't do any SAC's, I'd probably be able to do them all in a few hours. The SAC's take more time than uploading the images.

So, I admire your commitment and your thoroughness to get the whole cemetery done! It's a big job but a job worth doing. I'm doing the same thing with a Catholic/Polish cemetery in Lowell MA. That one's tough - the names make me crazy!

Take Care and keep up the awesome work!

Nathaniel Whitcomb
Memorial # 82110243
Do you know if this headstone had a Revolutionary War plaque next to it? Nathaniel, son of Benjamin and Dorothy (White) Whitcomb, fought in the Revolutionary War, died in Lisbon, and had a brother Josiah who was married to Rebecca. So I'm thinking this memorial belongs to him. However, I didn't have a death date, only a birth date; so no strong correlation to prove it.

I hate it when all people do is go through cemeteries to see if there are duplicates or if you misread a 0 for a 8 or such. It really isn't even about them, it is between you and I.

The main point of this is to upload and work together, but there are always those who like to make it difficult.

I don't think the create date is important if you don't have anything, it is who did a history and invested time in the memorial.

You are welcome, tell Virgul I was asking for him, he is such fun.
