Ginny, thanks so much for all the photos! It really helped on a couple to determine actual death dates, even though hard to read, I was able to make out the info I needed. Really appreciate your time.

You're very welcome and your comments are much appreciated. Should you ever learn of a soldier who's not included, please let me know! Many members have done so, and it's been very helpful.

Sorry, I also forgot to state that I removed some info that I felt was too confidential; therefore, altering what was originally posted and basically re-wrote the original obit.

Re: Lydia Jackson Comings photo
I wanted to give a huge "thank you" for fulfilling my photo request for Lydia's grave. I cannot believe that it is still standing and readable as I assume it was erected the year she died, in 1849. That is something that does not happen here in Missouri as we have such humid weather. Moss, mold, and fungus are the enemies of gravemarkers here. Anyway, thank you again, and please know that your effort are appreciated, even by those who don't give you a 'shout out.'

Maude Baxter Clark
I am researching my family history and came across Maude's memorial on Findagrave. I believe your aunt married my great uncle. His name was Burton Clark, and he was my great grandfather's brother. He died several years after Maude and I know very little about either of them as there is no one left who I can ask. I would love to correspond and learn more about Maude and her life if you are willing. My email is I hope to hear from you.

Terry Goodwin
RE: Frank Farver
You are most welcome, it's always a pleasure to photograph veterans' graves. I was glad to hear I am not alone in having a family member listed under multiple names from the Civil War. My gggrandfather fought in both the Mexican and the Civil wars under two different names. In fact, the pension index card lists the second name as "alias". The topper (and perhaps the reason) is there was another enlistee in his outfit of the same name, only difference being middle initial. It may sometimes be maddening, but it is still the best fun I think you can have.
Regards, Terry
