Grave stone, Springfield Cemetery
I just tried to request a photo of the gravestone of Orianna P Leathe Buckland in Springfield Cemetery and received a message that the memorial could only have one photo. You took the photo of the entrance gate of the cemetery. If you go again would it be possible for you to take a photo of the gravestone and send it to me for my records? I have just learned that Orianna Leathe was my great-aunt, sister of my grandfather who was the natural father of my grandfather who was adopted as a infant.
Thank you for anything you are able to do.
I will also be writing to the person who owns the memorial record.

Emily I. Ritter
Hello, Helen & Joe --

Thank you for adding the records of the Ritter family. I believe the one for Emily I. Ritter is incorrect, as shows an original death record of 1904 rather than 1934.

Hello Helen,
Would you mind if I used your photo of Springfield Cemetery (Massachusetts) on my family tree, with attribution to you? Thank you very much for your consideration. Gwen

I noticed your photo of the mass grave enclosure. I couldn't find this marker and the nice lady at the Springfield Cemetery pointed me to where the mass grave is, but there were no stones or enclosure there. I'm wondering where you found it because I'm thinking she showed us the wrong spot. Thanks in advance.

No Guts, No Glory
Florida National Cemetery
Since I wrote you the first time, someone has deleted your entry. Do a search for the name that you entered. If you see it, see if it is in the right place. If you do not see it, then add it again and put them in the correct FNC in Bushnell...LMK if you need further...

Please transfer your entry to the other Florida National Cemetery (the one with greater than 109,000 memorials) so that the new one that was created can be deleted. Thanks, Dave

Springfield Cemetery

I would like your permission to use your photo of the Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Massachusetts on my site. I would, of course, give credit to you. I may have already asked you this, but if so, I can't find my original message to you.

RE: Thanks for posting wife of Issac Wilson Auten
I am kin to the Autens in Mecklenburg County, NC. My Autens are John William Auten who married Harriet Prim. They are buried there in Trinity Cemetery.

The Census Record is 1920 not 1820. My error!

RE: How Autens and Autons are related...
There is an 1820 Census Record for Samuel and Martha Wallace living with their son John Auten and his wife Bessie. Also residing with them are John's son Robert, John's sister Vergie and a niece, Sunnie, and nephew, Ervin. They are residing on Lakewood Avenue, Charlotte, NC. John works as a tinman in the Cotton Mills and Vergie works there as a spooler. Could this be your family?

RE: How Autens and Autons are related...
Hello - Sometimes the name changes are transcription errors or misspellings by record takers. I will try to find some records for your two Auten/Auton relatives. Thanks, Gari
