RE: Hunter Family
Thanks for getting back to me. I checked Find A Grave and went back from Emma Marie Hunter Dority to her father, William Davidson Hunter b 30 Mar 1840 and his father Joseph Hunter b 20 Aug 1818 Clackmannanshsire Scotland. I feel your Hunter line will tie into the Hunter lines that connect to a Janet Hunter b Clackmannan Scotland. She married David Simpson Cook. This is the line I have photos from with a Steve Hunter who was an uncle to one of the Hunter lines, said Mothers uncle Steve on back. It matches photo on newfamilysearch of a Stephen Hunter also born 2 Dec 1822. He married Jane Cook. The Hunters and Cooks intermarried but don't know how they were tied in as cousins. Keep this info in mind when you go backwards into your husbands tree.

Hunter family history
I have come across some old cabinet Hunter photos and believe they are connected to a David Simpson Cook line who m Janet Hunter. They were born in Scotland, and James William Hunter was also born in same town as Janet Hunter. I have a old photo of a Steve Hunter, on back says, mother's uncle Steve. I am thinking it is the Stephen Hunter listed on Find A Grave # 90002502 but am looking for proof of his parentage. Are you a Hunter researcher and can you help me? These old cabinet photos were found in a large collection of photos kept by the family of David Hunter Cook b 1854 d 1913. Am trying to get photos back to family tree.

RE: Mary Alice Fielder Brown

First, I would like to apologize to you. For some reason I think I responded to a message from you (when I first became a member) in not a nice way. As I've worked on F.A.G. (and my ancestory) I have found nice, wonderful people and relatives.

I would love for you to transfer Samuel Brown (85320283) and Mary Alice Fielder Brown (85320271) to me (47571514).

By any chance, are you on ancestory dot com?

Mary Alice fielder Brown - 853202771
Hi Rose,

Would you please add Mary Alice Fielder Brown's father, Benjamin Fielder (34070104) in her family links? Mary Alice is my great grandmother. I'm still digging for info for her mother, Mary Ann Estes Fielder. Greene county history shows she passed in 1863 but her youngest son Andrew was born in 1865.

Thank you for your time. It is greatly appreciated!!

Hi Rose,
I am always happy to transfer family members within Find A Grave guidelines. I am just as happy to add information and links to memorials that are not transferred. If I might ask, what is your relationship to Benjamin?
All the best.

Are you related to the Hardegrees in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX. I added some headstone photos for Ellen Lucille (Townlin) Hardegree # 100747288 and other Hardegrees in the cemetery. Do you know anything about Yvonne Hardegree or Vada (Hardegree) George?

RE: Charles Poynter
Oh, thanks! Good to know. Sometimes I wonder if/why I'm "wasting" my time doing this, so I appreciate the feedback. I just know that I found one on a direct ancestor and it revealed a lot I didn't know about her and wouldn't have been able to find on my own. :-)
