|Martha Chowning||Chowning relatives|
Hello! I have been doing a little research on my AR relatives. There is one sibling missing on the memorial for Frank Chowning, who was my grandfather. His other sister was Montine Curtis Chowning Stansel. She married BH Stansel (Bunyan Harvey) and they lived in Winston Salem NC. I'd like to be in touch, as I believe we are related! Thanks, Martha Chowning

Thanks for posting the three McGoogans in Scotland Cem, Scotland on F.A.Grave. They are my aunt, uncle, and cousin; the only listings for that cemetery. Is "Scotland Cem." in Scotland the same as the "Scotland Presbyterian Cem." in Wesson? There are a lot of other McGoogans listed there? If they are the same, do you know the procedure to merge the two?
Thank you for taking time to read and respond to this for the family's sake.

Hey, Girl ...
Just use the "Edit" button next to "BURIAL" (just over the cemetery name on the memorial). You will be given a window that says at the top: "Edit the burial information for ______ _______ (the person's name)". Step One: You will see three circles for selection on the left side of your burial choices ("Cemetery Burial" should already be selected). Click "CONTINUE". Step Two: You will be given another window that's entitled "Find the Cemetery". On the top line you will see "Scotland Cemetery". Delete this and type in "Scotland P". This is all it will let you type in, but it's enough. Click "SEARCH FOR THE CEMETERY". You will be given another window in which you will see "Scotland Presbyterian Cemetery" to confirm that's what you want. Click "SAVE CHANGES" at the bottom and you're all done!
I had to do this over 800 times to get all of mine moved. I had asked the F.A.G. editors to combine these two cemeteries over a year ago, but it hasn't happened. I truly appreciate your help with this.

|Loretta Talley Stehle||Austin Gresham|
I saw your notice on Find-A-Grave requesting pictures of Gresham graves. My husband and I were there recently (we take rides on our motorcycle) and we found an Austin Gresham. However, the dates on his grave marker are different than the dates you have. We did take photos of the grave if you are interested. Dates shown on the grave stone are 26 January 1850 to 09 April 1922. If there is a chance this is the correct person, I will claim and fulfill the photo requirement for you.

|Nancy Stegall McIlheran||THANK YOU|
I am Max and Betty's daughter. I was so sorry to read of your mother's passing. You have my sincere condolences. She was a grand storyteller, so I thank you and Anna Bess for these beautifully written biographies of our family members. I so enjoyed reading them and remember hearing her tell many of these same stories. It is nice to have them recorded for others to read. I may add a few photos if they do not exceed the limit.
I know this was a labor of love, but I also know that it took much time. Thank you for doing this!

|Dottie Adcock||ADCOX spelling|
The correct spelling for Loretta Christine McGoogan Adcock is with the "ck" ending, not the "x."
Thank you for correcting this.

Hello, I am Sarah Rogers and I am a volunteer for Forney Historic Preservation League. We are now in the process of renovating two buildings in downtown Forney, Texas as The Spellman Museum of Forney History. Mick Spellman was our benefactor and Coreen was his sister and an internationally recognized artist. The Museum, The City and The Presbyterian Church (jointly) were left a large collection of the work of Coreen. Are you related? My email address is email@example.com if you are interested in corresponding more about the Spellmans.

I am a Irby from Union Co.,NC and have been researching my Irbys for a while and was amazed when my friend found your site! My grandfather, James Robert Irby,was the youngest son of Hogan Irby. Your articles were on the oldest son; so my grandfather and jwh were brothers. I wondered if I can buy one of your books. I think also you are doing a cookbook; am I remembering correctly?? Also are you related to the Irby's?
I am so excited to find this info. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!

Thanks Melissa. I am always pleased to know that there are others interested in preserving our old cemeteries through memorials and pictures. Sadly there is always the chance that they will be destroyed sometime in the future.

Please call them at 214-381-7118 and get a location of the grave site for Jerry Stegall and Deborah Wray and I will gladly go and photograph their tombstones. They are short handed and will not look up the information for anyone other than a relative. I did this for someone else looking and I got the photo that week. Email me with the plot and I will go look and get a photo. Thanks
