|greenpastures||RE: Benjamin Toy Bullis|
It appears that Eliabeth's Mitchell Bullis's mother was Susannah Lee/Lea Mitchell. Her first name may as well also have been Martha, as you know the Bullis line enjoyed naming after mother's. I show Elizabeth's daughter also named Martha Elizabeth, but went by "Bettye." I don't have any information for Benjamin, but wonder if the name Toy could have been "Troy." I am not familiar Toy as a surname to the area, but that doesn't mean Toy isn't correct. I have heard Troy as a last/first/middle. Hope that helps.

|Vicki Bullard||C. J.Parlier|
Thanks so much for that wonderful obituary on Dr. C.J. Parlier. It really personalized the memorial. Sorry it took me so long to get to it. I've been totally focused on another project recently and had to ignore everything else for a while until I got it done. I'm catching up on my backlog now. Thanks again. Vicki Bullard

You must think I'm really stupid. William Woodruff's Find A Grave entry that I had put in myself was plainly stating that he had been a sheriff---but I had forgotten about that. (Duh!!)
Thanks again for that obituary.

Just want to thank you for the obituary, which I have added to William Woodruff's entry.
I didn't realize he had been a sheriff. His wife, Elizabeth was my father's first cousin.

Would you mind changing the designation of the photos you left of James and Cora to person instead of grave? I've been photographing that cemetery and am adding grave photos. Thanks for your help.

|Barbara Spears Pipek||John Rash|
Thanks so much for posting the Civil War letters from Melvin to his parents. I have added a Memorial for Melvin and linked him to his parents.
Thanks so much for helping.
Your email to me ....
I can't find the grave of John & Velisha's second child (of 10 children), Cpl. Zeno "Melvin" Rash (1840-1862) because he died at Drury's Bluff, Virginia on Aug 5, 1862, according to NARA records. He must have been buried in an unknown location somewhere. On March 14, 1862, Melvin enlisted as a private in the 52d NC, Company F, for 3 years or the war. By Apr 28th Melvin was a 4th Corporal in his Company. Anyway, I posted Melvin's Civil War letters written to his parents so he could also be remembered as one of their children.

Hi, Please let me know if the monument is a slab or a marker. That might give me an idea for looking in the right area. Thanks!

|Gerry Jean||Harrison Gough|
Because the Holy Cross data base hasn't been available on-line since 5/24/14, I can't pursue the following hang-up by myself:
Would you know if Harrison is possibly interred in one of the following families?
Gomez; Graughran; Schmitz; or ??

Children can't be added to parents. You have to request the owner of this memorial to add his parents to his memorial.

I wanted to let you know I live in the area and got your request for a picture of the grave site. I went this evening and did find the grave, went to take a picture and the memory card was not in my camera. So needless to say I have to go back. Which is typical for me. lol
I will go before the end of this week,

|Kimberely Faw||James Hansford Walsh|
Hello, I only have one picture of him. He was my great grandmother Ila Walsh Parsons (wife of James Richard Parsons Sr.) brother and my great great aunt Nora Walsh Parsons (wife of Ed Parsons) brother. I have looked and ask everyone one for pictures. I would love to have one of their parents but I can not find anyone that has one. Sorry I can not help you. But if I ever run across one I will post it.

I linked his daughter Julia to her parents, but the other three memorials are made by other people, so you would have to give the numbers to them. Thanks!

|Candeux||Photo of Hiram McAfee|
I noticed that the photo you posted of Hiram McAfee is signed by the photographer: "Cummins". This caught my attention because I recently found a grave at Loudon Park for photographer James Cummins. (I assume it is the same person.) His grave his very unique in that a copy of his signature is engraved on a boulder that serves as his grave stone. It is memorial #51493866 if you want to check it out.

|Miabeth||RE: Leonard Rockey|
Did you want to link him to his parents?
Samuel Rockey #44643331
Patience Rockey #44643386
This is not the brach of the Rockey family that I am tracing, so could you verify that I've sent the correct links?
Added by Miabeth on Nov 12, 2012 5:10 PM
The PA Archives website has his military information,stating mostly the same information as on the memorial. What does the number at the top of his tombstone mean?
Added by Miabeth on Sep 11, 2012 8:11 AM
I'm working on finding proof either way to determine if the Leonard Rockey in TN is or is not the son of Samuel Rockey in Lancaster County.
