Thanks for the picture, I beleive this is an ancestor of mine. Looks worn off, did you do a rubbing to determine wording?

You are welcome. Yes the grounds are maintained well from the looks, but some of the older stones are not in very good shape.

|Geo Clinton||Daniel Comstock|
Daniel is on the directory for the Oakland cemetery. His lot is listed as 0-0. There is no such lot. Beside his name it says he died in Cherokee, that he did not have an Obituary, and that his wifes name was Polly.

I was at Philipsburg cemetery today filling some requests. I believe I found David's stone. It is hard to read, but I think this is it. If it doesn't look right, feel free to delete it. Also, on the same monument is the name Sarah. Also hard to read. Iif this is a memorial you want to create, I can upload that picture. I will keep it for a few days.

A belated thanks for posting this photo, and great quality too. By any chance did you see any other Behney graves here?

Thank you much for the gravestone photo for Pearl Madden and thank you volunteering for Find A Grave so that folks like myself can have pictures of ancestors - knowing we will never be able to visit there. Keep up the good work!
