Have Paws will travel !
I don't know if I once contacted you to link up Charles with his parents or someone else did, but Charles is linked up with his paternal grandparents, not his parents. Can you change his parents to:
46057809 - Emery J. Polite
41525871 - Jennie Polite

Been corrected thank you !

RE: James Jackson
Thanks for the info on Mary Jane. I just added her marriage record for A. J. Lynch. Have you seen it? I put it on my tree. They married at the Seattle Hotel, 20 Apr 1907

RE: James Jackson
good call. SHOULD be 1809 but suppose the stone cutter was handed a date 1809 and it was misread as 1800 and so did the math wrong. My own grandmother's date is wrong and it cost too
much to fix. Or other records may be wrong but it not to hard to make a case for a 0 and a 9--this is of course circumstantial.

What do we know from the stone? We know this James Jackson has
a son Elias and got killed in Tenn. So they should be in the same household in the 1860 census. Looking we find a Jame Jackson with the correct date 1809 not 1800. Although there are only an initial for the kids they match near perfectly for our household. Note he is from PA and Elizabeth is from Virginia. Note too even James K Polk Jackson fits for J K Jackson.

By the way, the only Jackson born in VA living anywhere in Ottawa county is this same L Jackson and her birth year correspond as does her husband Jas. and children that fit. The only James Jackson in Ottawa county from Pennsylvania is this one. There is no other 1800 James Jacksons in Ottawa who could be this one.

Home in 1860: Clay, Ottawa, Ohio
Gender: Male
Post Office: Genoa
Value of real estate: View Image
Household Members:
Name Age
Jas Jackson 51 at 1809 PA James
L Jackson 42 at 1818 VA Liz=Elizabeth
P Jackson 23 at 1838 OH Philip
E Jackson 20 at 1840 OH Elias Shannon
M Jackson 17 at 1843 OH Mary
J K Jackson 14 at 1846 OH James K Polk
Eliza Jackson 8 at 1852 OH Eliza
F Jackson 7 at 1853 OH Frankie
R Jackson 5 ?
M Jackson 3 ?

Compare this to the 1850 and again we have nearly the same but especially the (Elias) Shannon who shares a stone with the James of the questionable date

Name: James Jackson
Age: 41
Birth Year: abt 1809
Birthplace: Pennsylvania
Home in 1850: Berlin, Knox, Ohio
Gender: Male
Family Number: 308
Household Members:
Name Age
James Jackson 41
Elizabeth Jackson 31
Philip Jackson 13
Phebe Jackson 11
Shannon Jackson 10
Isabella Jackson 8
Mary J Jackson 6
J K Polk Jackson 5
Rebecca Jackson 0

Note the providence: James Jackson m. Elizabeth Cosner in Knox County 18 Aug 1836 and the 1850 family is in Knox county and move to Ottawa. The circumstances are just too great to be chance.

She is listed there with a section and plot number, but she's not there, I am still going to talk to the caretaker there with hopes of still finding her, I posted the problem due to time running out.

Franklin is buried at A 5195. I always verify with this website before I go over there. Their Civil Ware records for the Nashville area are superb.

RE: Hi Sally!
Hi Pat,
It is indeed the Sally you knew that worked for the state. I have been doing this for quite a while with my brother. It started with just relatives and then I started going to cemeteries that had hardly anything on findagrave.. so my brother and I try to cover the cemetery with pictures. We are currently trying to do the cemetery near his house in Bath.. But of course, we are waiting for better weather. I still go to lunch with people that worked with me at Cass and the Grand Tower. We have a once a month gathering.
Didnt know you went into the service. Fantastic. I always thought you were such a nice person and it was good to hear from you. Sally

Hi Patricia.... Thank you so much for responding.
Your Fullers aren't ringing any bells with ours. However, I still have to sort out Grandma Mary Fuller Pendell's brothers.I'm printing out your message and will hang on to it, just in case.
Thanks so much. Jean Pendell

hi Patricia.......Are you a descendant of Charlie & Atala W. fuller? My husband is a descendant of his only sister, Mary Ida Fuller Pendell. I have been working on the Fullers & Loomises for a long time. Have pictures of the Fuller kids and Charles & Maranette "Nettie", willing to share. Jean Pendell

Are you related to Charlie Fuller (Sr and Jr) from around Casnovia, MI? My grandparents (and g-granparents and gg-grandparents), the Coles, lived on Fuller Rd. outside of Bailey. I posted a photo of Charlie Jr. on F-A-G and There are other Fullers in the photo. If you'd like a copy, let me know.
