RE: Sarah C. (Graves) Johnson Burial Marker
Donna, I don't know about the other Johnson lady's marker. The other Johnson could be a sister-in-law to Sarah. The only other female Johnson I know would be Daisy Johnson b.1879 d. abt 1903. However, her married name is Oldham. Daisy is the daughter of Sarah.

Donna: Thank you so much for the tombstone photos for Doris Killen (#80418801) & Ralph Killen (#80418803) buried in Memory Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Martindale, Caldwell County, Texas.
I appreciate the time and effort spent in finding, photographing, and posting my requests to findagrave.

RE: Antleys
I think Henry had several relatives in Texas and back in Louisiana that probably took the kids. That's part of what is making this research difficult.

RE: Antleys
Thanks for the census information. Yes - sad story and for her husband Henry. Maria was his second wife and she had died very young also. Henry remarried a Melissa Booth in 1873 but then she died seven years later. Henry lived to be 92 and died in 1920 if my records are correct - tough old bird.
Will you be able to get to the cemetery for pictures?

RE: Waller
Donna,

Thanks so much for responding. I'm working on lineage for a lady applying to the DAR. We have some notes showing that this family lived here for a while - back and forth between TX and LA. Anything you have on the families would be appreciated.

Thank you for letting me know. I won't post another photo request for Sarah Johnson. I'll be patient and wait for the corrected photo.

Hi, yes I took what photos I could find there. It was a challenge finding any due to the overgrown conditions. I hope to be able to go back and work there again.

RE: Laux
I am working on the Harpers right now which is my wife's Grandmother maiden name. I am going through old family history documents her mother had. A Harper is connected to the Laux family, so it is a relationship via marriage. The Harpers are mostly out of Johnson County, IL.

Herbert C Laux one of the 14 Laux children, married Roberta Magdalene "Robbie" Rushing and her mother was Nannnie Magdalene Harper 1885 1968. So the Laux family is twice removed. Nannie was my wife's 1st cousin twice removed.

You would have to give me their names so I could check my family tree and see. I am related to the Gilbreath, and Ferguson families buried there though. While my cousin's husband is related to the Huddleston, Hodges that are buried there as well.

I want to thank you for your efforts and the excellent photo. I appreciate your help very much.
I attended Ira's burial at Kingsbury. He was married to Norma Anita Couch, a sister to my mother Katherine Marie Couch. He was an avid outdoors person and a nice man.

Thank you again.

Ira Beaty Photo Request
Donna

I noticed you claimed my request for a photo.

Ira was buried on the far right side of the cemetery
and if memory is correct to the right of the last road into the cemetery.

I'm guessing there is only a funeral marker.

Thank you and hopefully you find his plot.
