I'm so excited that I ran across this! These pictures mean so much to me. Our family doesn't have any like this that I'm aware of. Marcus, in the younger picture looks SO MUCH like my uncle Ervin (named after my great grandfather Ervin Sherwood) Of course, Ervin married Nora Bradford--my great grandparents! I can see where the strong resemblance comes from (that we call the Sherwood Look) I guess it's more like the Bradford Look!! Thank you for sharing this; and, all the info! It helps me so much!!

I don't have it as far back as you do sadly. If mine is accurate, my family traced to my 9th great grandpa, Gov William Bradford b1590. My dear Grandma was Viola Beatrice Bradford. I am happy to share what I have. Feel free to email me any time. Sincerely, Kathleen

I got both pictures from Jack Gillis. Someone at some time or other obviously cut the original photo in half, but I don't know who or why.

Thank you for the photos. I love that there is an "earlier" one and and "older" one.
I am DAR; I am not a Bradford.

|<3 from Michigan||RE: Bradford family at Ridgelawn in Breckenridge|
Just got back, we went to several cemeteries so I have to sit down and get all of the photos figured out and posted to Find A Grave. Sorry, the book that I was talking about is a book listing most of the burials in Ridgelawn cemetery in Breckenridge. It's not complete, that's for sure, but it's close enough to make it easier to find most people in it.
No, we are not related, I just don't mind helping someone out while I'm already making the trip to a cemetery that they are interested in. I was going to both the Wheeler & Ridgelawn cemeteries today so I took a quick look at what anyone was looking for at either (it's about a 2 hour trip for me one way there, so I don't do it often). I just happened to stumble across the mix up with your cemeteries. We did get the pictures of William R. & Cornelia Bradford's stones, and they are in Ridgelawn, not Wheeler. I'll add the pictures to the listing for them in the Ridgelawn cemetery.
We took some other pictures of Bradford stones that we came across, we'll add those to Find A Grave as well.

So I did a bit of digging with the information that you have on William & Cornelia's pages. It looks like some of their children are also at Ridgelawn. I found them in my book. Harriet Dancer (& sons?), Charles & Bertha Bradford, Norman Bradford, and Newell & Lena Bradford. It looks like someone has recently added a lot of names to Ridgelawn on FindAGrave and she included your family members as well, so there are already memorial pages for them. I will look for the rest of these family members for you as well. You may want to request transfer of these memorials since it looks like this person just did a mass listing of the Breckenridge cemetery.

|<3 from Michigan||William & Cornelia Bradford|
I was working on my planned trip to Breckenridge to go to Ridgelawn cemetery & decided to take a look at requests at the Wheeler cemetery since I would be that way. I saw your requests for William & Cornelia Bradford and took a look at the death cert. that you added for William. I was surprised that it said place of burial was Breckenridge, not Wheeler. I have a book with burials in the Ridgelawn cemetery in Breckenridge, and William & Cornelia are listed as being buried there. I will look for their stones at Ridgelawn (probably tomorrow) and get back with you.

There seems to be a mix up with the dates. You have the father born 1843 and the son born 1847?

|Janet Taylor||RE: William Bradford|
Thank you for the thank you. We did not see any more Bradfords in the area. I was on a mission to take all the pictures in section A so I know there were not any more around. If there were maiden names of mothers I'd be glad to check it out, as I have more pics to put in for that section. I was surprised to see how nice William Bradfords headstone held up from so long ago. Let me know if you need help from Saginaw. Janet
