Henry Bowers
Hi Jill, I have corresponded with you in the past regarding your Bowers family. I have found a gravestone for Henry Bowers at Church Hill Cemetery in Martins Creek, Pa. I have not added it yet because the stone is not easy to read. It just has a death date of Feb. ?? 1858(possibly)I believe it may also list "Aged 59 years 8 months and 28 days." I just wondered if he might be a relative of your family. I am going to have to research the date in cemetery records to see the exact date before I post it unless you have any records on him.

RE: Darrohn/Werkheiser updates
I have transferred Mary Ann Werkheiser to you. I believe we corresponded in the past regarding Russell Pysher who married Anna Bowers. Russell was my husband's 3rd cousin 2X removed.

RE: Jesse and Sarah Darrohn
Hi Jill, you're very welcome.
I notice though, that my picture for their grave didn't come out the best, so I will retake them this weekend for you. Oh, and it looks like I have the incorrect day for Jesse's death..if you could fix that for me haha.
Glad I could help though!

Cousin Jill,
My direct line also does not include Anna Kaderina Bauer (1777–1841) or Johann Adam Bauer (1772–1847). What I am trying to do for JOHANN PETER CONRADT (First Lieutenant)(1737–1789) and VERONICA SOPHRONIA HELLER CONRAD (1747–1809), my direct line, is link the first two generations. Much like the Mayflower Society's Five to Seven Generation Silver Books.
Thank you for the information, I will reflect Bauer siblings in my tree.

Hi Jill,
I experienced the same dilemma as you with the names. I researched with Bauer, from birth and church Christening records, then a different, i.e. Bower, shows up for the same person in Find A Grave. Find A Grave goes with the earliest Memorial date, so other spellings should be noted on the Memorial. The name fault in Find A Grave, results in multiple memorials. The name problem for individuals with multiple spouses also leads to multiple Memorials as only one last name can be used. Not finding an individual with Find A Grave search, is frustrating when matching birth and death dates suddenly match in a cemetery. You kind of know a cemetery was "carpet bombed" when there is no maiden name, no linking of family members, incomplete vital statistics, and no biography. My 4th great grand Aunt and Uncle married Bauer siblings, Anna Kaderina Bauer (1777–1841) and Johann Adam Bauer (1772–1847), church records in German. Some researchers have them as half-siblings, do you have them with the same mother?
I kept the Bauer name for German research.

RE: Elisabeth Bauer in Plainfield Cemetery
Jill, Anything is possible, but the information I have input is exactly what was stated in the cemetery records with no parental information.

RE: Photo of Edmund Bowler
No relation...we did some research in Scott County...and copied alot of the material in the various Scott County historical books...

Know the picture is from some of that material...just can't seem to find it right now...

He had to be identified as Edmund Bowler in the material...or wouldn't have added the photo...

I keep an eye out for the material...

RE: Henry Paff in Church Hill Cemetery
I would love to have Henry with family, you didn't leave a membership #. I had most of my family on BOTH sides taken by 2 nonfamily Find A Grave contestants. My family has little of their loved ones, these 2 contestants took every one of them.
My hope is to do everything I can to get family to family to people like yourself, so you won't feel the heartbreak I have to feel. Family should have family, be they distant related or a dear friend. I will be more than happy to give Henry to you, he needs to be with family.
