|Allen Austin||RE: East Alton Cemetery/Everett Springer|
"True, it is now called Milton Cemetery. Milton road used to run down along the side of it and at the bottom of the cemetery was at one time considered East Alton until they reannexed it. Some old obituaries say the people are in the East Alton Cemetery when in fact they are in Milton Cemetery."
Milton Road still runs along side it and dead ends sort of. You can turn left on to Biscayne Blvd and follow it around to Hy Vista Dr to Wickenhauser Ave back to Milton Road. As you are driving along Milton Road near the now closed Mark Twain School and near Oscar Ave as if you making a right turn, the road becomes Comein Place which leads to Broadway and you take a left into East Alton.
I have never seen it refered to as East Alton Cemetery, except here and one other cemetery website who name I don't recall. I'll have to do some research into that for my records. That must have been before there was sexton to take care of the cemetery. From what I have seen and read it that the city of East Alton didn't want to care for it and didn't care for it and that it basically was abandoned for a short time til someone decided that something needed to be done to clean it up. A gentleman by the name of last name Miller now takes care of it with donations from families that have family buried there. The Miller family put together a headstone index back in 2001. |Allen Austin||East Alton Cemetery/Everett Springer|
According to GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 38.88580, Longitude: -90.12360
this is Milton Cemetery in Alton, not East Alton Cemetery in East Alton.
Also the photo you submitted is more than likely the only photo there is now as it was not found to be photographed in April of 2012 with the rest that are there.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. email@example.com

|David L. McMonigle||OAKWOOD CEMETERY|
Patty - do you have access to burial records for the Oakwood Cemetery in Madison County. Eunice Lucille McMonigle Schueler's husband, William Reinholdt Schueler died in February 1967 in Florida. I notice his name has never been engraved on the grave marker he shares with his wife, Eunice. You took the photo of Eunice's grave. Either William was never buried next to his wife or no one bothered to have his death date engraved. Any ideas.

I was stationed with Joe Chappell in France in 1957. I wonder if you know any of Joes relatives that I could contact. I have several photos of our time in France which his relatives might like to see.

|Henry J. Inman||Carroll Inman|
Patty: Thank you for trying to get a photo of the gravesite of Pvt. Carroll Inman. I saw a photo on his memorial page that has a list of names. Is Carroll on that list? If so, do you have a higher resolution photo of that list? Thank you again for your help. I sincerely appreciate it. -- Henry J. "Hank" Inman.

Thanks so much. 've started hooking the family members together. I'm about to take a "genealogy trip" to the Maloney home region in Pennsylvania -- I've been making my to-do list of what I knew and what I didn't.

It is perfectly okay that you have the Federle memorials. Nellie and August are my grandparents. I'm not a picky person at all. I am just grateful that they are honored in some manner. I asked if you were kin to them (or if we were kin actually) just out of curiosity of knowing to possibly expand my notes and so on. If you do not want the Federle memorials I will take them, but it is not a must for me. Thanks for your response...

Yes, Patty -- it would be wonderful to manage the memorials for the Maloneys in St. Patricks. All are uncles, aunts, or cousins -- except one mystery person (Minnie) -- homework to do! Thanks.

How do you find all this information? Do you have any info on the ancestry of W Earl Turley? Did his parents immigrate from what country? My husband is Newton Earl Kopsie Jr. He's been searching for ever. Thank you so much

Ill just have to look myself when spring comes around again. I would have to say they are on the Church side for their kids are and I look all over Mound. That place is huge and I don't blame you for not remembering.

Hello Patty. I have noticed a couple of memorials that you built on here with the Federle surname. Are you of kin to the Federles? You may contact me on here or email me directly.

Thank you for finding them. Do you remember where you found them and what side for Mound is the public and Calvary Cemetery is the Catholic side (very crowded. I would like to go to where they were buried and see if their children are near them

|Phyllis Higgins||FAG - Julianne|
I have no problem with your posting of Julianne's picture and etc. I did read an article about her death; do you know if this was ever solved? This family is a very distant relative of a family name I was researching. I would like to see her name linked to her parents; it's a goal I work on with each family I research and post on Find A Grave. Thank you for your help in updating this memorial. If you wish to keep it, that is fine. I just enjoy the research and connecting the family lines. Find A Grave is really a blessing to genealogists.

Patty, Thank you so much for adding the picture of Sibella Galbraith Middleton's gravestone. I thought it was a lost gravemarker as many years ago the top of the headstone was laying against a tree and I was sure that they would never be put together again. Your picture has made my day. Thank you!
