RE: headstone
We went back and found her. Don't know if my last e-mail went through. She does not have a headstone. There is a red stone with Emma carved on it. It is next to her husband. I will post the photo later.

OK. I found it. She doesn't have a headstone. It is a flat red fieldstone with her name scratched in it. Will post later. I am on vacation in OK from my home in Jersey.

RE: headstone wells
Ok, I found the pic.
It's in a family cemetery east of Oquawka, across the Henderson Creek, north up what is called Little Brick Road.
As the roads takes a Y it's on top a hill about 100 yards straight up through a lot of brush.
I've heard the place referred to as Wells Cemetery.
Legend has it that John Pence was buried there then removed to Rosetta Cemetery.
All the burials for this little cemetery are listed as being in the Biggsville Cemetery.
Sorry if I confused you any, didn't mean to do that.

Please give me the memorial number for the photo you are speaking of, I can't find any photo in my files for her. Maybe I deleted it, so I need to see it again.

Andrew Axelson at Acacia
Your note on your photo request for "a photo of the actual headstone" for Andrew cannot be done. Click on the photos on this memorial, Andrew's cremated remains are in a book-style urn, which is described if you click on the photo. You will also get a clearer version of the photo.
Thank you for the request, Stephen

I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) will not provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. There are actually three mausoleums at SH. Hillcrest Mausoleum, the largest, takes over an 2 hours to walk if you are looking at every entombment. Your cooperation is needed in order for your request to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please email me and I will get your photo. Thanks.

I claimed the photo request and, after doing some digging, have updated Paul and Kenneth's pages. If you want a transfer, let me know. Will get all the photos when I go this weekend, no additional photo request needed. Red

RE: Vaught's at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, Ca
Hi Debbie, well we were only looking for Lee and Ruth Vaught because there were requests for those 2. We don't know if Ruth has a headstone. Lee is in block 5-A, row 6, grave 61 and Ruth is in block 5-A, row 6, grave 62. So she should be right next to him but there is an empty space to the left and also to the right of him. We still want to double check with the cemetery though. There are also other Vaught's listed on this website. This list is only from 1911-1991 though. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cagha/cemeteries/imperial/evergreen-tz.txt
Have a great day,
Ramona & Serena
