Keith Cameron
RE: Linnie Ethridge
That is probably correct. I have David Lee Ethridge's death certificate, which names Linnie Richie as his mother (informant is his father, Delmer Ethridge). I also have Texas Death Index, 1964-1998 which lists her name as Linnie Katherine Ethridge. The United States Social Security Death Index simply lists her as Linnie Ethridge.

I know nothing about her background, such as where she was born. I have the birth certificate as well, and the birth date in that document matches that in the references I cite above. The 1930 census for Dublin also supports a birth date of 1920, though it misspells her name as "Lennie". I would probably go with "Richey" as the correct surname spelling since that is on the birth certificate.

Nim Rod Richey, her father, (note spelling) has a memorial at 67373271; it seems to match with the information I have for him, including linking to wife Hattie. It is in Comanche, so I'm sure it is a match.

Thanks for looking at this. Let me know if you need more info.

RE: Inola Kee White #88110588
Appreciate you finding the obit on Inola and publishing it. It is always good to learn something new about a relative, such as a nickname. Glad to see obit shows her husband as W Sam White, Sr and her son as W Sam White, Jr. in the obit. That should clarify the incorrect middle name of Sanderson for her husband and support my link for connecting Inola to her son, as well. Here is a copy of Tx Birth records which prove Sam's full name.

Texas Birth Index, 1903-1997 about William Sam White
Name: William Sam White
Date of Birth: 4 Oct 1940
Gender: Male
Birth County: Brown
Father's Name: William Sam White
Mother's name: Inola Kee
Roll number: 1940_0009

Thank you for your work on these memorials.

RE: Inola
Thanks as I was just curious. I had never heard it as a family nickname. So it must have been a name from friends in the community.

Appreciate your response.

My name is Joyce DAY. Carrol David HUTSON, Jr., is my brother. If you are not kin to him, I would appreciate it greatly if you would transfer his memorial (#121277450) to me. I put a memorial in without realizing there was another one I would like to use yours since it has a picture, but with my name on it. Thank you very much. Joyce DAY

Transfer made and you're welcome! I recently re-photoed McDaniel and need to check to see if Mr. Blumenthal has a more permanent marker now.

RE: Delmon Abraham Wise Family
Good Morning,
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your kind offer to transfer Delmon Wise's memorial to me. I have been trying to find the time to research and see if I can connect his line of the Wise family to my own, but have not had any success thus far. I find that happens quite often when you get back before the 1850 census records. So, at this point, I think it would be best if you maintain management of his memorial. Thank you so much for making the links and for making the offer of a transfer. I have found some links to Nellie Wise and I will send a sac for that. Again, Thank you!

Thank you for your quick reply and transfers of the DeVineys in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Brown County, TX.
Do you happen to have tombstone photos of them?
