GUIDRY
Cool ! Clara was my grandpa Bob's sister.
That means the you are my cousin on the Badon side. Clara's husband was my grandma's brother. Well, I should explain that my grandpa "Bob Badon" married Leoncia Guidry.
Then, his sister "Clara Badon" married Leoncia's brother. My mom was double cousins with Clara's kids. But Leoncia died in March of 1930 and now, no one remembers her. They only remember his 2nd wife "Agnes". I knew Warren Guidry and 'still have contact with Clara's grand daughter "Loretta". I'm sure you know Loretta Guidry, Henry.
Do you have a tree on ancestry.com?
My f/b name is the same as on my Find A Grave profile.
Loretta is on my f/b friends. Except that I haven't seen her on in several months. I do, however still see her daughters post on f/b.

Thank you. If you'd like to add the record to his memorial, I don't mind. If you do not own the record, would you give me the dates and ect?
Thanks, J J

Ursin Broussard
Hello,
Thank you so much for posting the picture of Ursin Broussard's grave. Did you by any chance take any pictures in which the verbiage on his tombstone is legible? I cannot make out his name or the inscription in the posted photo.
Thanks again!

Hello, I have been searching for my gg-grandfathers family for many years and know that he was born in Bartholomew county Indiana and went into find a grave to see if there were any other Alexanders listed in Bartholomew county and came across William Washington Alexander. My gg-grandfathers name was John t. Alexander and he was married to Eliza Ellen hamm. Their baby girl's name was Mary Alice and she is buried at burnsville cemetery in Bartholomew co. My gg-grandfathers was a prisoner of war in andersonville during the civil war and was killed on the sultana coming home after the war was over. My gg-grandmother married a john c. Doty a year later. My g- grandmother received a pension from her father's death. Is it possible that he might be related to your family? Thanks for your help. Dalene Royer

Wealtha & John Hoffman
Leslie,

I've transferred Wealtha's memorial over to your care. I figured that you'd also want John's. Family should be with family.

Take care,

Margi

Caroline Vosburg
Leslie,

Well, I'm so glad that you found her and suggested this, because it would be a shame, I agree, for her to be alone without any parental links,

Mona
Pierce (maiden name)
Just a short note, My son and I will be seeking out family graves tomorrow in the cemetery your family members are in. We will look around for your names. Also wanted to ask,is Pierce your maiden or married name? I am a Pierce by birth. My dad was from Brockton Ma. and my mom was from here in Louisiana. I started my search only a few weeks ago and have uncovered some exciting things on my Pierce side. Have you looked into that area as yet? Hope to find your loved ones, will keep you posted. ML

I am searching for J.W. Adcock who was married to Mamie Bradley. Mamie died in Belton, S.C. about 1968.

George Kendall
Leslie, I think this is the wrong George Kendall #81468766. I can't find this one. I think according to census records that this is not the George married to Carrie. Unless you have something I don't know about. The correct George Kendall is #75716759. Thank-you.

I saw your note on his memorial, was Marcus'
wife Nellie the daughter of Ellen Virginia Sorrels and Edgar Davis Boren? Nellie Boren was a distant relative of mine and I have been working on my family tree. I am from the Goza family line.

"Margarets" memorials
Just to let you know, find-a-grave is now allowing input/edits of the memorials in and around Claiborne Parish, Louisian, that were originally created by "Margaret" who sadly passed away in September of 2011. You just have to go through the edit tab and follow the instructions that come up.

RE: Strohmeyer
Hello Leslie:
Thank you for the prayers and wishes for recovery. I keep and treasure them all. When I feel down, I go through my folders and re-read them for a spiritual rush.

My email is: dianne_m43701@yahoo.com and I thought it always came through when I sent edits, so I may go into my account and see what could be wrong.

I did check your bio and didn't see 'Strohmeyer' listed and that is why I requested the transfer. I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes, but its possible I missed it somewhere along the line. Thanks for your response and your uplifting message.
Dianne

Evert Smith
I linked Evert to his parents Lot Smith and Melissa East Smith. They were my third great grandparents. I would like to find their graves to photograph, but the directions to the cemetery seemed like they had been written quite a while ago.
