|Amy Dunn Hohler||Transcribing photos|
PLEASE be careful when you are transcribing photos that you are not creating duplicates. I have had to delete numerous memorials that were created based on my photos that already had memorials. They just needed the photos added.

|KEN DOTY BROWN||RE: Frederick Hummel|
Just getting around to replying to messages. The reason for going to Lawrence was to visit the graves of my wife's grandparents - Procops. The cemetery is in terrible shape. Almost all the stones were vandalized and the back of the cemetery is completely overgrown with weeds and downed trees. It is a shame. Several years ago we tried to visit the graves, but the cemetery gate was padlocked, and no one had the key. This last time, the gate was wide open. No problems getting in. I have a number of Lawrence graves that I have not yet posted. Have a good night. Ken

I posted a picture of Mr. Dermitt's headstone.
Just to let you know that he is buried in Garden of Memories not Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
They are two separate cemeteries.

You provided a pic of Mr. Spence on his Find A Grave memorial and his wife has a connection to my maternal line. I was wondering if you are related to the Spence family or to Ruth Lilly Spence ?

You're very welcome. Sorry the stone is in such bad shape that it's getting difficult to read the inscription.

|chrisw||Lawrence Cemetery Burial-Witze|
FindaGrave shows an unidentified Witze (perhaps my g-grandfather's brother?) buried there. Does Lawrence know about when/what time frame this burial took place? How do they have his name if records lost? Is there a gravestone? My ancestor died aboard the hospital ship Falcon on 20 June 1866 after getting typhoid on the trip over from Hamburg (while immigrating). There were several burial sites on Long Island for situations like this, and I wonder if he ended up in Lawrence. Thanks.

|Mary Ann||John Dermitt's Photo Request|
John Dermitt is in fact buried with his family in the family plot. The office confirmed he does not have an individual marker. I posted two photos of the Dermitt Family Plot.

|Mary Ann||Charles Dermitt's Photo Request|
I went to the plot location that you gave me and I found 5 Dermitts. There was no Charles Dermitt among this burial location. The ones there include James Charles(I posted Photos for him). They include Allen Dermitt 1885-1931, Harry Dermitt 1914-1985, Simpson W. Dermitt 1876-1919 and William V Dermitt 1878-1914. I will open memorials for the remainder. If you contact Mt. Lebanon, maybe he is buried somewhere else. Let me know and I will go back.

|Christina Dunigan||RE: Mt. Carmel Cemetery|
That's gonna be fun to sort out. Have you alerted the administrator?
As soon as I get my camera back from my mom (probably this weekend) I'm gonna go to the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Johnstown and photograph all the graves and have the complete cemetery online. I'm also going to do that for a tiny cemetery, I forget the name, just a little closer to town.

|Christina Dunigan||Mt. Carmel Cemetery|
The picture you submitted looks like the Mt. Carmel cemetery I drive past every day on the way to work, but the map has it in a very different location.
Google Maps has one in Northern Cambria, but also notes the one on Frankstown Road, north of Johnstown.
Is your photo linked to the correct cemetery on the map?
