RE: GRIFFITH MEMORIAL
Do you want the transfer anyway? As I said, I only added the memorial as a courtesy. Your correction information suggested that either your information was correct or the photo was loaded on the wrong memorial. I have no way to choose which of those is true with no more information than I have.

Benjamin Griffith Memorial
Hi Russell,

I added this memorial from a booklet on Stice Cemetery put out by the Warren County, Illinois Genealogical Society. I understand that there were many tombstones transcribed from this cemetery for the booklet many years ago and some of them are no longer legible or possibly even no longer there. So, I added all the names listed in the book as a courtesy. I did not load any of the pictures on the memorial, and I really have no other knowledge than what I posted already. Since this sounds like it might be a family member for you, would you like for me to transfer the ownership of the memorial too you?

RE: Capt Arthur W Marsh - Memorial# 122117046
OK, thanks. Just re-sent that as another edit suggestion. I THINK Memorial# 122117046 is the same Arthur Marsh as I have researched, and if so, his parents are:

- father: Benjamin Franklin Marsh, Sr - Memorial# 91960644

- mother: Ruth Wetmore Marsh - Memorial# 91960936

Wondering if the edit suggestion I sent on June 26, 2014 reached you - regarding Memorial# 122117046 for Capt Arthur W Marsh? If not, I can resend.

RE: Charles Andrew Bates, Maplewood Cemetery
Hi

Thanks for adding the information to Charles's memorial. I do not know his second wife's name.

The only additional information I have which you might add is that he received an Army Invalid Pension beginning on March 27, 1891, which he received for life for his service in the Civil War.

Once again, Thank You for creating and maintaining his memorial......Mike Barksdale

Oral Davis 110934798
First thank you for the work you've done. Second I think the date for Oral is his BD. In looking at the picture of the gravestone, I would have thought it was both birth & death for him since his parents have both dates on the gravestone. But Oral is living in 1900, in the census [below] his birth is May 1887. In relooking at my transcription [& image] I noticed that at 13 he can't read or write. His sister still at home can. Mary in the 1910 census is living with her son Albert & his family. I did a quick search for Oral in the 1910 and don't find him.
