|Martha Franks Phillips Martin||RE: Phillips Memorials|
Thank you so very much for the transfers of my beloved Grandfather and Grandmother George and Dora Phillips. I will try my very best to care for them as they did for me. Also for my mother's brother who gave up his life for our country. I will try to do his memorial justice to the special person he was.
I understand what it is like to care for ill family members and hope all goes well for you and your loved ones.
Thank you again,

Hello! I noticed you maintain several graves at Cantrell Cemetery. I was wondering if you were a descendant of any of the people who are buried there. I have a set of great great grandparents (Hughes) and a set of great great great great (Sanders) buried there along with their daughter (another grandmother). Just curious!

|Lynda Sell||RE: George & Nancy (Akers) May|
How very nice of you to offer, I sure would love to have pictures of the descendants of George and Nancy (Akers) May that are buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, Zion Cemetery, and the family cemetery called 'Akers May Cemetery', which is near Winfield, Marion Co., AL. I have been hestitant to ask anyone to secure pictures of these tombstones, but if you go to any of these cemeteries regularly and can locate their graves I would really appreciate having pictures. Many of them are listed on Find-a-Grave. If you really don't mind taking pictures, please e-mail directly at my e-mail address: DonLynSell@aol.com and I will send you a return e-mail listing the names in each cemetery that I am sure are my relatives and descendants of George & Nancy.
In any case, please know that I truly appreciate having pictures of the tombstones of George & Nancy (Akers) May.

|Dean Page||Eliza Howell Guin|
I am questioning the parents of Eliza Howell Guin. You have her listed as the daughter of Elijah and Nancy Andrews Howell. In all the research that I have done, I find her to be the daughter of John B. Howell and Susan Burleson. I don't know which of us are correct. I am copying and pasting something that I found on the Howell history. I also have book of all the Howell's in Marion County, Alabama and she is listed as the daughter of John and Susan.
JOHN B.2 HOWELL (JAMES DAVID1) was born 1806 in North Carolina. He married SUSAN BURLESON 1830. She was born 1809.
Children of JOHN HOWELL and SUSAN BURLESON are:
i. BENJAMIN WRIGHT3 HOWELL, b. August 20, 1832.
ii. ELIZA HOWELL, b. 1834.
iii. SAMUEL HOWELL, b. 1837.
iv. JOHN P. HOWELL, b. 1839.
v. WILLIAM HOWELL, b. 1841.
vi. NANCY HOWELL, b. 1843.
vii. MARION HOWELL, b. 1845.
viii. CHARLES HOWELL, b. 1846.
ix. BEVERLY CHESTER HOWELL, b. 1848.
x. SABRINA ANN(SABRA) HOWELL, b. 1854.
I hope you do mind my questioning this. I just want to be correct on my tree. You could be right, I could be wrong. Help me out.

I am so sorry to hear of the bad health of your family member. I have delt with cancer and Alzheimers in my family and I know how rough it can be.
Rilocastie BKA Callie is my grandma Letha's sister. If I am not mistaken Callie's husband John and DOra are broher and sister.
I am not sure where James Edmond and Margaret Phillips are buried. I have been told quite a few different places by family members.
I would love all the info you have on the Phillips and Franks. My email is AngieBack2School@aol.com.
Peace and good health,

Dora Franks is my great grand aunt. She married my great grand uncle George Willis Phillips. I am looking for any of the following people. I cannot find where they are buried. I have added them to a couple of cemeteries in hopes of finding them but the request have still not been filled.
MY great-great grandparents
I believe these people are in your areas.
James Edmond (I believe Jim is on his headstone) Phillips and his wife Margaret Frances Gable Phillips (I believe Margaret is spelled incorrectly on her stone).
Dennis Phillips (which is James and Margaret's son)
my great grandparents
Joe and Maude Phillips Roberts (Maude is the son of Jim and Margaret).
Who are your parents, grandparents great grandparents?
Peace and good health,

|paul & teresa (martin) goodwin||RE: Weems Memorials|
Thank you very much. It took me awhile to realize that I fought to put down how I was related. My wife and I just started on findagrave and we've meant some of the nicest people doing this work. Since we both belong to the Garden City Historical Soceity here in Cullman Co., We have decided to completely do our town cemetery on the web site. I took pictures for two Saturdays. We have been plugging them in as we can. It gets to be a chore but it was worth it the other day when we were able to transfer some graves to a fellow researcher in Oregon. It did not take me long to realize, the best part of this site is being able to help strangers. If there is anyone in Cullman County you're looking for give me a hollar I have access to lots of information at Wallace State College library in Hanceville. There had two floors just on family history. I ramble as I get older. Once again thank you. God Bless.

Hi Rebekah...sorry to hear about your grandparents', my brother has dementia and he is only 56, really hard for him to remember things he has done. It's too bad about your brother, when my Mom was dying my brother wouldn't come to the hospital, so I guess we all have phobias about people that are ill. Anyway, thanks for the info I will pass it along! Its been really hot up here too, but I am sure no where near the heat you all experience!! Great to hear from you!! Take Care as well, Gay
