RE: Nucky Johnson
Hi Marilyn,
Thank You for your response - that's fine re Nucky and his family...I just thought having it on my page might get it a few more visitors, but the sponsoring seems to have helped in that area, anyhow. Hope all is well with you and yours - Best, RCP and Gannon Blue

RE: Enoch
It really wasn't any fault of yours about the cemetery. When you and many others entered memorials in Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Zion Cemetery had not been created yet. It was very hard to get people to transfer their memorials over, until they realized what they were being told was true. No burials have taken place at the Zion United methodist Cemetery for a very long time, way before Enoch had died and you can verify that by contacting the church.

I don't understand why in six months, you will not make the correction.

I sorry to inform you that you have Mr. Johnson along with his two wives in the wrong cemetery. I have visited this cemetery many times and his mausoleum is in the cemetery across the street in the Zion Cemetery.

Nucky Johnson
Hi, I just sponsored Mr. Johnson and his two wives; I'm more than happy to do it, and didn't want to ask this until after sponsoring them so that you wouldn't feel uncomfortable saying 'No'...but would you be interested in transferring their pages to my management? It's fine if not, but if you check my page and sponsorships/managed pages, you'll see that I do keep respectable pages up for those I sponsor, both family and otherwise, and, being a writer, I (hopefully) do a thorough and professional job, as well. My personal background is knowing quite a bit about the Detroit/Chicago/Philly/Atlantic City area because of my father, Ronald Poynter, and a memoir about my parents is presently making the rounds of agents and presses - Dad was an interesting man to grow up around, to say the least. =) If you're more comfortable keeping the pages, that's more than okay, but if I can ever help you to flesh out the memorial info, etc., please feel free to let me know. Have a good holiday season - Best, RCP and Gannon Blue

RE: Frank Andrisano
I met Frank while walking through the park with my dad. He used to take us to HC Park because he lived in Bayonne and liked walking by the water. I was about 8 or 9 too. I overheard Frank and a group of boys talking about going into the marines, so me being fascinated with the military since I was a kid, I asked him if he was a marine. He said no, but that he would be in a few months. I told all the guys my name and they told me theirs. The guys he was with were also going into the military. I remembered Frank's name because his name was Frank (my grandfather's name) and he was Italian like me. Bayonne lost an unusually high number of men in Vietnam when you consider that it's such a small town. May they rest in peace on this Veteran's Day...

RE: Frank Andrisano
Someone contacted me a few weeks ago telling me that this very memorial was a dupe. I figured that this person complained to Find A Grave that it was a dupe and had them delete it. You know how people on this site are about being first, about the number of memorials they create, etc. It's all about ego, not honoring the dead. My memorial was quite thoroughly researched too. Oh well. Since they are your relatives I took the liberty of transferring management of all the Andrisanos buried with Frank to your care.

I actually created a memorial to Frank, but for some reason it's no longer showing up. I'll have to create another...

RE: Thank You
You are very welcome Marilyn. I met Frank when I was a kid right before his deployment. It was a chance meeting while in Hudson County park now Stephen Gregg Park. I'm sorry that he didn't make it back...

Thank you for the information, you are great finding this out for me. My father knew him many years ago, & as a child was there in Atlantic City many times, I am now enjoying the series on HBO. I think this site is also great I have both my parents & family on here for my relatives to find. Keep up the good work
Thank you,
J. Kaye

Ms. Lockwood,
do you have any idea where Nucky's wife Florence Osbeck Johnson is? She would be about 91 years old is she still alive?
Thank you,
J. Kaye

RE: Thank you
Your Welcome.
I have three more pics...
On each side of the monument is Jennie Scotese 1892-1955, Millie Scotese, 1894-1972,
Albert Scotese, 1889-1921 and Manfredo Scotese, 1887-1935.

Also, a marker next to the monument, De Lucia. I think her name was Mildred De Lucia, buried 12/21/1972.
Below the De lucia name is Millie Scotese, 1894-1972.

If you want to create something for each of them, I will supply the pictures.
You can e-mail me through my page if you need to.
