I have a photo of him, but can't add it because there are already five of his stone. Can you possibly remove one that is similar to the others so I can add his photo, please? Thank you.

Glad I could help. They would only give me a few of my names and yours were nearby.

Thank you for sending me a note about the photos I took at the Gooding-Standish Cemetery in Dighton, MA. I am glad to hear you liked them and they are helpful to you. If you would like copies of my originals I would be glad to send them to you.
FYI: The photos posted are all of the stones that are visible/still remain in that cemetery(some of which were very weathered as I'm sure you noticed). -Judy

Hi, Just wanted to tell you there is still lots of snow here so I guess I should wait and please put in a request for John Burden too. If they are in Athens Vt then there are 2 cemeteries but I'll talk to the town clerk to see which one they're in.

Hi Jan, You are quite welcome! You are right, I got lucky - the sun was shining on it just right...because as you know, there are a lot of stones in that cemetery that are very hard to read, including this one! I'll be going back in 2 or 3 weeks, so let me know if there are any others you want me to look for, I'm always glad to help out! Karen

Jan, you are welcome. I am happy to do it. The Old Burying Ground is only about five minutes from the house, but I enjoy going there and taking the photos. I also take photos of other headstones while I'm there. Chances are they haven't been taken yet or at least not posted on findagrave.

I don't believe anyone will find this grave in this graveyard. This isn't to say he wasn't buried there. The link below gives all the graves that were transcribed in the late 1800's. As a person that has walked it many times it appears to be spot on.

Left work early and did it on the way home. I'm about to post many more for that same cemetery. You will find some interesting I think...
