Glad you were able to get an answer on that. I have been amazed to see how many time this has been the case. I knew it happened, but not this common. It has been the case with three others attempted to look for a marker for. Have great week!

|t walden||Tompkins Headstone|
Thanks for the Tompkins headstone photo and the thorough description. this allowed me to create memorials For Annie A McDowell Tompkins, Helen K Tompkins and Louie P Tompkins. It would be great to have the headstone photo attached to those new memorials and if you do it the photo credit will be yours as it should. Annie is # 110518992, Helen is # 110518835. Louie P is # 110519091
Helen is daughter of Annie and Uriah and I assume Louie P is also but have not linked him to them nor in my family tree since I have no source. If you got a death date for Helen or a birth &/or death for Louie from the rubbing I will adde those to the memorials and the tree. Thanks once more for your in depth work on this. Tom

|t walden||RE: Tompkins and Murphy|
John, Thanks so much for your help. The Walden, Murphy, Tompkins story is complicated and it took me a while talking with my father to sort it out. All the Waldens there are my relatives. There are two different Tompkins lines in town. My cousins are Uriah's family. I want to link up Waldens, Murphys, Tompkins, Hannas, Hunts and Jessens with the family link feature to help researchers and family sort it all out. They all ended up in Glehnam, Beacon and Fishkill. I have some other family whose memorials you created that I'd like to manage to this end. I am always happy to transfer memorials to more closely related family members should they ask. Thanks again for all you're doing. Tom Walden

Thanks so much for the headstone photos and for the close-up of the inscription. It really is covered with lichen and if you hadn't caught it in close I'd never have seen it.

I made the links to the Juricas for Ludmila Kosler's memorial. In looking at the photo of the stone on Anton Jurica's page, I saw that the birth date for him is 30 March 1840, and the death date is 4 August 1912. Magdalena's stone only shows a birth date, 5 May 1849. Her death certificate shows she died in West, McLennan Coutny, Texas, on 8 Nov 1936 and was buried there, not in Praha, so technically, her stone in Praha is a cenotaph.
