RE: Nancy Hunt
Hi Susan,

Glad to be of help! I've checked on both Windows and Mac computers, and with both Firefox and Safari browsers, and the photos I added appear fine. There are two - the Veterans section photo loads quickly as it's not a large file, but the grave photo takes a bit as it's a somewhat large file (about 3MB).

So for now I won't reload the photos, but if you still cannot access them let me know and I can send copies to you via e-mail.

Thanks, Mark

I have an old newspaper article (not really an obit) giving details on how/when/where J V Vance died. If you would like a copy of the newspaper scan, just email me.

RE: Emeline Winchell Peters
You are very welcome! I am still trying to find exactly what branch of the Winchell mine come down. Another descendant of Emeline and I have some distant DNA connection according to Ancestry DNA, but I still can't find my Winchells (Mary A "Polly" supposed to be the daughter of a "Jacob." Have yet to find the right Jacob.)

RE: Sarah Hamilton at Holy Cross
You're very welcome! I'm sorry that there isn't any headstone for Sarah; I understand that it may have been lost in the move from San Francisco to Colma, but I don't really know. There are many unmarked graves at Holy Cross, and it is quite an adventure trying to research and find someone, but well worth it!
Best, Dana

Happy I could help. Photos are running behind here due to weather. We have had a string of rainy weekends following the winter. We have several folks who do photos here though and if the weatherman will help us out, maybe we can start getting caught up on photos. I do not know the Humphreys so I will transfer any you want to manage. Any others you are looking for here?

I found Jane in cemetery records, created a memorial for her, and linked it to Sherman for you. You may want to request a photo. The record shows both Sherman and Elizabeth have marked graves. Have a nice day.

You're very welcome. I noticed the name error and wrote to Ron Ramsey. He's pretty good about correcting his entries.

RE: The Peters gravestones at Willamette National Cemetery
Susan,

Of course you are more than welcome to use the photos. Thank you for asking. Send some of that sunshine up this way. Many of the stones at Willamette are still covered in mud and need more sun to dry them out as they are unable to be photographed at this time. Also it doesn't just melt away like the snow.

RE: Herman Intveld
Your welcome. My daughter and I went out. You Uncle's was a little easier to find than the others. We looked for several that day and his was the only one we could find. Wish they had a book to let you know where to look. The cemetery where my parents are has one and makes it so much easier. I suppose I could get a hold of the city to find out. But I don't know it just seems rewarding to look for them yourself. I am hoping to be able to help others too.

I went out to the cemetery and Charles is buried there but no stone. There is also a Mildred Weston Smith. Is that his second wife?

RE: Indianapolis Cemetery in Iowa
You're welcome. I guess you could say I'm addicted to this Find A Grave hobby. I mostly do the cemeteries in which our family is buried. I found that some have little online documentation so took on the task.

I made the edits for her.
I will look for Charles, altho his memorial says an unmarked grave. I usually try to take pictures of all the family in one plot, but sometimes I miss some.
Do you want Lucy transferred to you?

I cannot find Franklin Edwin Smith in Indianapolis Cemetery, Mahaska Co. Iowa.

I did find
Nellie May Smith [127903451], wife of F. E. Smith and a son, Lewis Henry Smith [128186015]

The Franklin Edwin Smith [60388583] listed in Indianapolis Cemetery was born in White Oak Twp. near Indianapolis, but died in Illinois.
