Thank you for your reply. I am interested in learning more about my family history and I appreciate you posting the information about my motherís family! My mother is in her late 80ís and is the only coherent child left of Herculano and Senaida Montoya. Recently we found both my grandparents baptismal certificates and their marriage license as well as my grandfatherís 1942 draft card (although he served in the army in 1918 for 4 months). Thank you, Ida Carrillo

I was wondering where/how you got this photo of my uncle as a POW in WWII at the hands of the Japanese? This was around the time of the Bataan Death March, which my uncle actually survived, only to die from being beaten and having malaria. I know there are several of us in the family who had it, specifically another uncle who actually was the first one who found it in the Reader's Digest.
How is it that so many people seem to be able to photograph so many people's graves? Are you hired by Find A Grave? Can you help me get more info on my uncle?

You might want to read the grave photo...no photo icon for it so its probably not giving you photo credit.

Thank you so much for creating the bio for my heart uncle #123773436. My mother was very happy when he was finally laid to rest, and this is more information than we had.

I took this man's grave photo in a San Jose Cemetery. As I read his bio, it stated he was in the Bataan Death March. Thought you might like to add him to your virtual cemetery. #103883449

Thank you for the photograph of Sgt. Brissey's grave. I read about him in the book, "Unexplained Mysteries of World War II." I am enjoying finding the US Soldiers and/or Sailors/Marines on . This is an example of how working together makes for a better society & world. The adventure of the military men, the author of the book, and the efforts of everyone on . Thanks again for your part.

Thanks ... I think with the matching census data and the next plot being a brother with the right name it's probably them. I'll make the link and see if any corrections come in.

Also in the next plot from Cesario (see earlier message) is Onofre, who's headstone lists Julian And Reycitas as his parents, with his wife Guadalupe Vigil Ortiz - so I wonder if the wives of the sons in Julian's bio are out of order.

In your bio for Julian, you list a son Cesario with a wife Guadalupe. I have a Cesario Ortiz with a wife Delosia G and several of their children at Rosario. The children match in age and name to the children of the Cesario and Delosia Ortiz with whom a Julian and Reycitas Ortiz of the right ages are living in the 1920 census. I know the wives' names don't match, but do you think this is the same family? If so, I'll make the links from Cesario to Julian and Reycitas.

|Erin Muffoletto||Ojo Caliente emetary|
Hello and thank you for all you do with the Ojo Caliente cemetary.
I was looking for someone that takes care or oversees the cemetery? Is that you or do you know who does? I went there recently, and every time I have been there, it is apparent the cemetery has not been kept up and is always full of trash and weeds. I am trying to find out if it is privately or publicly owned? I would like to either find state funds if it is a public entity to clean up and fix up the space, or help the group in arranging a day to clean up the cemetery. My father and sister both reside in the cemetery in Ojo Caliente and would love to see it cleaned up with help from the commuity and I am happy to host this effort. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
