"Confusing to say the least"
State (Maryland) and local (Frederick County) cemetery directories list Harmony Cemetery &
Harmony Church of the Brethren Cemetery as two separate cemeteries. These two said cemeteries are .02 miles apart. Harmony Cemetery has been called the Old Harmony Brethren Cemetery &
the Harmony Church of the Brethren was described
in about 1969 as the new cemetery of the Harmony Church of the Brethren. Does the community consider these two cemeteries as one today? I remain confused ... to say the least.

Looking for
Hello, I am looking for more specific directions to Rocky Springs Cemetery, Frederick, MD. For a photo request. I saw the photos you posted of the cemetery, but drove end to end on Rocky Springs Rd. last weekend and found nothing. Is it off of a side road? Do you know how far from Yellow Springs Rd it is? Mapquest/Google maps were not useful.

Thanks in advance!

Maria Grams in Burkittsville
Her stone is on the other side of the cemetery with her daughter's family. As I remember, if you sort of walk straight back from John Grams' stone, you will find Maria's stone almost all the way in the back.

Thank you ever so much for the photos of George and Mary Koontz at Burkettsville Union Cem.

Cemeteries are our past, present and future, they sometimes tell us stories of those that went before us. Lest we forget those that gave us life.

Your dedication to preserving the memory of our loved ones is greatly appreciated.

God bless

If it's not asking too much, could you check for:
Willard Atlee Horine
Lola Virginia Horine (never married)
Manzella Elizabeth Horine (never married)
Mildred and Hubert Gordon
They should all be in or near the Horine plot.
Thanks again

RE: Horine
Thanks for Billy Kennedy's gravestone. I kinda thought that's where he'd be if not with his parents. I would love to have the pictures of Baxter and Lola also. Thank you so much for the extra effort.

RE: Main
Not a problem take as much time as you need. I'm transcribing a large Catholic cemetery onto Find a Grave...............Richard

Kennedy gravestones
OOPS! I hit enter too soon.
Thank you so much for the gravestone pictures of Herbert and Ethel Kennedy.
William Baxter Kennedy (their son) may be buried in his grandfather's plot. His grandfather was Baxter Tobias Horine.
Have a blessed day

RE: Bachmeyer
No problem, you're welcome. Lulu, Mary, and Dr. A.C. Bachmeyer do not have individual head stones. Click on the photo for a description in the caption. I also have photos for Hettie B. Bachmeyer (1854-1915), Henry F. Bachmeyer (1857-1925), and Stanley B. Bachmeyer (1889-1935). They are all buried in Section 120 with the other Bachmeyers. If you create a memorial page for them, let me know, and I will add their photos.
