|Diane Schrader||RE: Thank you!|
I'd love to get back to LaPlata someday. Meeting in the cemetery sounds good too (albeit a bit creepy) :) I actually have a picture of my grandmother as a young woman standing in LaPlata cemetery. I'll have to add that to her page perhaps.

Hey there Farm Girl from Mo. How are you doing? If you have better photos have at it. Let me know what ones you want me to remove. I use a photo editing software but it can only do so much with copies. I do a lot of cropping to remove the unwanted and make the subject more pronounced. Have a good one.

I'll leave you to do the cemetery photos. I've got a growing list of requests for my area. We were over in LaPlata last year to see the cemetery but couldn't find the Park stones. I'm glad to see you have them already on the site. You've taken on quite a task and we are very grateful for your efforts.

I've added a personal photo of a few of my ancestors from the LaPlata Cemetery. I hope that is OK. I have a lot of vintage family photos I can add to several memorials already listed on this site. Thank you for all your hard work in logging the LaPlata Cemetery.

Hi "Farm Girl" Patty Hocker Ryker here. I was going through some messages of a time back, came across yours. Just wanted to say thank you again, you were such a sweetheart providing the help you did, obits and photos and the pretty flowers. I shall never forget nor will the Spencer's. Hope this note finds you well, full of spit and vinegar and still tromping the cemeteries. Bless you,

Good morning. I've recently found Roxie's mother's grave, and have suggested that link to you (thank you in advance!).
I appreciate the changes you have/are making to Roxie.

My husbands grandmother was a Buck in Pa from Bucks County. Sorry I didn't put the find a grave number for Barnabus McNamee. I know that always helps. Anyway thanks for responding. It's easy for me I keep my numbers to family and friends and neighbors of family mostly, but when people post thousands it must be really hard to keep up with the volume. Under those conditions thanks for trying to get back to me.

Thank you for the update. I do have one other favor to ask, if you have the time. I am trying to locate the burial of the wife of William M Moran. her name was Milcah Gardner Moran Hanks. (She married a Hanks after her first husband (William Moran) died.

Hi again From another farm girl from Missouri living in Houston Texas. Looks like we have a connection in the McNamee family but I don't have your Barnabus McNamee in my file so wondered if you know his father. The McNamee family in Ohio started out in Md. What do you know about his origin?

I see Noah and Beulah Furgason are related. Looks like if I can find Beulah, Noah won't be far behind.

No I haven't checked the Rootsweb World Connect Project but I'll do that. Thanks for the reply and for letting me know about the last girl listed on his information. I appreciate it. I'm looking for the parents of a Drury Davis that was born in 1803 in Pulaski County, KY but this Drury Davis would have been a little too young to be the father of my Drury Davis. I thought maybe mine was the son of one of the brothers.

Can you tell me if you have names of any of the siblings for this Drury Davis?

Your memorial to W. L. Hildebrandt signed "Family". Would like to know if you have photos of his crew in 1951 plane crash please? My brother, S/Sgt. Philip W. Mantor, was on the same plane. Thank you for a reply.

Oh, Thank you so much for posting the bio info. You are so right about all the mistakes everywhere. It's only one of the reasons I try and make sure I cite sources and post documentation. It's so important that researchers like you and me who know how to do it right be an example for all the new posters. So much is getting muddied and mixed up. I'm always open to other volunteers helping me get things right. I appreciate another girl for Missouri. Thanks for volunteering for find a grave and being a team player. You are appreciated!

So funny I was just working on these posts a week ago. I would love to add the parents of Basil and I'm almost sure Basil is the father of Basil McDavitt but I'd love it more if you sent me documentation along with your request so I don't have to do extra research besides adding. I have a rule of not posting without documentation because I'm also a farm girl from Morgan County Missouri and I was born down from Hopewell and all the posts for Morgan that I post I want to be correct because I am a researcher also.Looks like you've done some awesome work for our county. Thanks so much for your wonderful work. I look forward to hearing from you.

Partial oops on my part. I have corrected my typo on his last name, but will leave the "co" as is since that is the way it appears in the paper. I have been working with Ellen to get her to this cemetery and am hoping she will find more stones than I did. It's very possible more are hidden in the accumulation of years of dead grass growing up and hiding things. There is certainly lots of "empty" space, especially between the two obelisks I photographed.
