Transfer Memorial 39301950
Hello Mr. Hansen!

Thank you for all you do for Find A Grave! Thank you for creating a memorial for my grandfather, Dallie Perry (39301950). I've been working hard in researching my genealogy for the past few years, and am working on my maternal line more this year.

Would you mind transferring his memorial to me so I can manage it, edit, make family connections, etc?

Thank you!

Best,
Mandolyn

James Woodgate
Dear mister Hansen,

my name is Erwin de Mooij and I am the content webmaster for the 457th Bomb Group Association website.

At this moment I am working on a virtual cemetery/memorial on the website honering all 339 KIA/MIA/KIS of the group.

I saw your picture of James Woodgate's grave marker and I was wondering if I could use it for the memorial. If you made any other photos of 457th BG members would I be able to use these too?

We would greatly appreciate it.

Best regards,

Erwin de Mooij

Carl Basenberg
Hi Dave,

Thank you for the picture that shows the words
written above the names of the memorial! It's
nice to be able to see it. I also appreciate the
explanation of the cross and flower.

I am sorry I have not responded earlier, but my
mom who is 88, fell and broke her left femur bone
in 2 different directions, so my time and care has
gone to her. Today is the first time I have gotten
on the computer to read my emails.

I have reached my brick wall with my 3rd great
grandfather on my Adams branch of the family-which
is on my mom's side. Hope you have gotten further
back in time than I. Carl Basenberg is my dad's
first cousin on his mom's side of the family.

Thank you for being a part Find A Grave, it's a great web
site.

Sincerely,
Rebekah H. Younce

RE: Carl Basenberg
Hi Dave,

Oh thank you! You have answered questions and
explained exactly what I needed to know. Carl
drowned in the Rhine River and his body was never
recovered. I did not know that even if his body
was not recovered, if there was a cross for him,
so now I know there is not and why. Thank you! I now also understand why I can't read the top of the memorial.

Thank you again for your help.

Sincerely,

Rebekah H. Younce

Carl Basenberg
Hello Dave,

Thank you for the photo showing my cousin Carl
Basenberg's name on the memorial. I do not know if
he has a cross in the cemetery, which is really
what I was hoping for, plus there is not a single
picture of the memorial that has the names on it
showing "what the memorial says above the names"
which I think would be nice so all who want to read the memorial can.

Thank you for being a part of the Find A Grave community
and for all that you do!!

Sincerely,

Rebekah H. Younce

Thank you so very much for providing a lovely photograph of James Minnitti's memorial marker. Jim was killed the day before his Uncle Florian James (Find A Grave Memorial# 56061869) in the 'Battle of the Bulge.' The tragedy tore a huge hole in the family tapestry.

Peace and Blessings,
Marilyn James
