|Mary Lois||Gibson relatives|
Hi, It's me Mary Lois. When I was recently on the the website looking at my Gibson family at the Foy-Gibson cemetery to my surprise I found new memorials had replaced my old ones...and this included the memorial for for your Mary Elizabeth Gibson...so it has a new findagrave number too. Surprise. I was able to talk with the person who posted the new photos (better than mine) and info and she had no idea that the old memorials even existed and is transferring my great grandparents to me...you may need to do the same as the old memorials got deleted somehow. Hope you are doing well, your cousin, Mary

From a man in Ohio with Watauga County, NC roots, thank you for entering the memorial for Larkin Micheal. His grandfather Elihu Watson was my third great grandfather. My mother's family moved from NC to OH in 1921. I have lots of cousins in North Carolina.

From being local I think you have his memorial in the wrong cemetery. There is an old Mount Paron Cemetery on the hill behind the new one. I don't think this cemetery came into being in this old (1940).
''Doc'' Watson's grandparents were Tom Watson & Elizabeth Triplett. I think Elizabeth was with Laura Foster when she was passing.
Thank you for all you do.

|S Rohrbeck||RE: Presnell Family Cemetery|
There are 5 unreadable markers that I could find at the Presnell Family Cemetery on Beach Mountain. The cemetery is along St. Andrews road. It is a small fenced in area at the edge of the road. There is one gate to enter the cemetery and a parking area right next to it. You don't have to physically be on the golf course to get to the cemetery.

I'm not sure what you're asking ... I think you want to know if I'm sure of the people buried there. No, I'm not sure. I'd bet there are several buried there without stones/markers, though. That occurs in just about every cemetery, especially the older ones. Sorry, I can't confirm the burials there.

|Mopsy||Francis Fries photo request|
I believe Francis Fries has a duplicate page here on findagrave. If so, I believe that he is buried in the family crypt/vault in God's acre. I have emailed you with details but just incase, here is his duplicate page. I could be wrong but I believe that this is the same person.

Thank you for the photo you posted of this cemetery last year. I went looking for it today and found the wrong Ward Cemetery (now Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery). Can you give me any directions to help me find it?

|susancatherine||photo request for james lambert|
I live in Mooresville and would be happy to take a picture of James Franklin Lambert's grave marker. I did a search and found that there was a James Franklin Lambert that was buried at Willow Valley Cemetary in 2009. His dates are 9/15/1919 - 5/5/2009. Is this the correct person you are looking for?

Thank you so very much for your correction of the duplicate memorial. I see one was dated 8th, one was dated the 9th. I'm not sure how I did it, but it's more than obvious that I did!. I appreciate knowing about any thing (big or small) that you find, I'll be thrilled to correct it. Much appreciated. Bianca

|Robert C. Peurifoy||Boone City Cemetry|
Bring it own! I'm. glad for the help. I haven't finish uploading my photos, but will make it a priority. Plus I'm some what overwhelmed with the research I need to take care at present.
Have a challenge for your students. There are actually two cemeteries: Boone City and the Jordan Council Cemetery. The Council cemetrey was the black or african cemeter However, there are three union Soldiers from the Civil war buried there. They were not deemed proper to bury in the "white" cemetery. I have listed all the infomation which I have from a roster from the 1930's. It would be good to find more information on them.
Much of this information I received from the DAR.
The council cemetery is the lower of the two with few grave markers. At some point a stone was removed and taken to a dorm for a halloween decoration. No one knows if it was properly replaced in the right grave.
Of course, if some one wanted to do B.B. and D.D. Daughtrey, this would be a great project.
Looking forward to the help.
There are a number of graves for past professors at ASU.
