RE: Hurin edits
Please send these through using the edit function again so I don't have to try to look all of this up again.
Thanks.

Hurin edits
I am declining some of the edits you just submitted for this family.
1) You have two edits for Stephen showing two different birth places - which is correct?
2) You have Charles Hurin married to both Genevieve and Mary. Genevieve appears to be buried with Charles while Mary is buried with Stephen.
3) You have Charles as the father of Catherine Kalitzke. Catherine was born in 1908. Charles was born 3 years later in 1911
4) You have given Catherine a hyphenated maiden name. Please explain where the Uhrin is coming from.
Maybe you just want to try this whole thing again. I did accept two of your requests but declined all of the others.Judy

On the marker there was also the name of " Wallace" but no death date. Hope that this helps.

You're welcome! I also saw the name Phoebe Coe on Ancestry. I researched this family when I was involved with our town's Bicentennial two years ago so appreciate any new information. Have a nice day!

RE: Phoebe Squier
Hi Necia, Yes, I've seen instances where a middle initial indicates a maiden name. My feeling is that Phoebe C. Crane was enumerated with the C. as her middle initial when she was 10 years old and again when she was 20 so that couldn't be a maiden name initial. The name on the gravestone is also Phoebe C. which could be either. Have you tried contacting the Hanover Cemetery office to see if they have anything in their files? Barbara

Phoebe Squier
Thanks for your suggestions. I removed the link to Phoebe's parents which was incorrect. She is the spouse of Anderson P. Squier not a sibling. I do question Phoebe's parents though. The dates on Phoebe C.'s gravestone are 1859-1942. She is listed in the 1870 (age 10) and 1880 (age 20)censuses as Phoebe C. which means the "C" was for her middle name not a maiden name. Her parents were William A. and Mary M. So I think Phoebe Nutman Crane and Phoebe C. Crane are two different people :)

PS
I did send the two memorials to edit, so I am hoping that they will fix them soon. Sometimes it takes them awhile. I told them I transferred him to you as you were related.

PS
I will contact edit at find a grave and see if they'll merge them. I knew that it wasn't your memorial or I would have had you move it to the cemetery and I would delete mine. This person though makes most of his memorials by recent obituaries, as soon as they come out. :-( I guess I am a little peeved with him/her.

Hi! Technically, mine is the first in the correct cemetery so it gets to stay. ;-) Would you like a transfer of it?

Martha A. Haney #36343978
I transferred her memorial to you some time back and have been looking at all the memorials on Find A Grave. I have one question and maybe a correction. Her headstone is Martha A. Haney; however you have now added her prior husband's name to her name and it now appears that her name is New Haney. That is confusing if someone is looking for her under the name Haney. Is there other way to list her previous name? I notice that you do have a note saying she was married to Mr. New before she married Mr. Haney. Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks for you help in correcting this memorial. Instead of the stone reading 22 years old, I have changed it to 20 years old. Geo
