I created a memorial for John Leland Selew:
Anything you can think of to improve?

OK I'm fine with that if you'll just link the informant. Do all the cousins know his cause of death -- it's important!

Nancy's death record shows that she died at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington. She was a resident of Vergennes.

|Janet Muff||RE: Re: Tamer Benton|
No, I'm not researching the Evarts name particularly. My husband has a lot of ancestors buried in Addison Co., and specifically in the Cornwall Cemetery, and I took a lot of photos the day I was there. But I'm usually very careful about not creating duplicates, and I'm usually very careful about my database (obsessive about it, you might say) and so I'm wondering where the "Evarts" came from. I suspect that someone sent me a correction from find-a-grave and I failed to note the source in my own data - something like that. But I don't want to have duplicate memorials out there and I don't want to disseminate erroneous information, so because Tamer Benton wasn't of personal interest to me, I decided to take the easy way out and simply delete the duplicate.
Please let me know if you ever discover the truth of her maiden name.

|Janet Muff||RE: Tamer Benton|
I don't have any idea where the maiden name came from, which is very unlike me. Usually, I'm a stickler for these kinds of things and research most of the stones I photograph. But this couple is not even in my database, and as it's been several years since I made the memorial I've no idea where I got the information. I can't find it in the Vermont VR's which would be my likeliest source.
So, I've deleted my memorial. I don't want to go to all the hassle of asking for a merger.
Thanks for sending the question, however, and alerting me to the duplication. I'm grateful for anything that helps in this way.

|JackiMex||Eliza Cohenour Taylor|
K. W., Thank you for making the memorial and for adding the tombstone photo for Eliza.
I would like to ask for your permission to use the photo in my family tree on ancestry.com. Since the photographer holds a copyright for each photo, I always ask before using a photo on another web site. I will give your name as the photographer and the web site of the memorial as the source. If you approve, may I also use in the same way any other photographs of my husband's ancestors that you have posted on Findagrave?

|Tim Childree||RE: Memorial Transfer|
I transferred Jack Walker to you, after linking him to Alice Walker's memorial. I doubt the monument has been inscribed with her name and dates yet. If you get a picture of it after the new inscription, let me know and I'll take down the pictures I posted.

Could you please check on Albinus Nightwine's death year, that is posted on his site. It reads 1912, which is his wife's death year. I believe his death year should be 1917. Could you change this for me so people get the right info.
Thanks so very much.
