L. Forbes
Andrew Jackson Manley
2nd marriage was to Mina Josphine Sabin
d/o Isaiah Evan Sabin (1817-1879) Forbes Cemetery, Louisa Co., Iowa #79893710. Mina Sabin's mother was Mary Dusky Campbell (1824-1896). She passed away June 10, 1896 in Esther, Pulaski, AR.
Mina Sabin was the second spouse to Andrew Jackson Manley; his first wife was Martha Louisa Goff; they had 3 children- John William Manley, Mary Belle Manley and Lena Leota Manley.

(6) children with Mina Sabin
1. Mary Louisa Manley Ludlow 1867-1933 Muscatine, IA.
2. Jeanette Amanda Manley Brown 1869-1950 Des Moines, IA.
3. Isaiah Ingram Manley 1872-unknown, married Catherine Minerva Raushenberger
4. Cora Alberta Manley Sullivan 1875-1940 Detroit, Michigan
5. Frank Manley 1877-unknown
6. Oliver Corwin Manley 1879-1942 Columbus Junction Iowa, married Silvia Fern Bliven

Appears Mina J. Sabin was first married to a Joseph Fraizer(sp) 1842-1890

RE: Unnamed Cemetery Ford Co
Hi Joan,
I finally got the name changed on the Unnamed Ford County Cemetery to the names you suggested. Thank you for your help. It is great for this cemetery to have a name.

I sent a message to try to get the cemetery name changed. I hope it works as I am old and don't understand everything about computers. We didn't even have electricity when I was growing up.

RE: Info on H Shearer
Hi Joan. I really do not have any other information on Harry. I have been looking for him for YEARS. Would you be able to recommend any good sites that could help me with the very limited information that I do have?

Thanks so much.

RL (Bob) Nielsen
RE: cleo pitman
Joan,
That branch of the Pittman family typically spelled the surname with one "T", but some descendants stuck with the two "T"s.

Cleo's lineage can be found at my

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rlnielsen/pittman/reports/pittmanjohnphilip.html

From that site, click through to "David", then to "Isaac Edward", then look for the "Harrison" descendants in the embedded PDF report summary.

Regards,

...bob

RE: Bruce, Edith Fred, Bertha
I linked Fred and Bertha Ferguson to each other, but you will need to contact Allen Bailey to have Bruce linked to his wife and his parents since he is the one that entered their memorials.

I would like to help with the links but I need a last name or a memorial number so that I can make the links to the correct family.

John W. Zimmerman
Gilland Road, East Waterford, PA
Hi Joan,

I am researching the Gillen/Gilland/Gilliland line of my maternal ancestors in the mid-1800s. I noticed a Gilland Road southwest of East Waterford, Juniata County, PA. The road is fairly short, and appears to have no more than two habitations in place. I wonder if you know the origin of the name of Gilland Road. I know there are some Gillilands buried in the East Waterford Cemetery and thought you might know if that family name was the origin of the road name?

Thanks for your work with the McWilliams Cemetery. I appreciate the name listing and the photo of the cemetery entrance in particular.

RE: McWilliams Cemetery in PA...
Thanks! :) Have fun at the reunion!

Eliza (Barton) Loudon's family is my interest. Also interested in any connections to the Thatchers. Eliza's daughter, Sarah, married Daniel Thatcher.

I appreciate your time!

RE: McWilliams Cemetery in PA...
That would be wonderful! I am related to the Thatchers, Loudons, and Bartons. Eliza Barton married Solomon Loudon, and they are my g-g-g-g grandparents. I found that many of the "married" names are also in that cemetery. I've had a terrible time figuring out the Thatcher family since all of the Daniels seemed to have married Sarahs. LOL I also only have eliza's parents... nothing past them

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE any stories or whatever you have. My email address is tlmcdaris@yahoo.com. Thank you so much! (And I can definitely be patient for August for pics! :) )

How are you related to the Barton family?

RE: McWilliams Cemetery in PA...
I noticed that you added the picture of the cemetery sign. Is this a picture you took yourself? If so, might you have a collection of pictures from the cemetery? (I only ask because it is a small cemetery, and sometimes in those cases, I've put a photo request in, and it turns out that someone has already taken pictures of the entire thing!) I am related to almost everyone who is buried there, as far as I can tell, but live in California! :)

RE: Paul Turner
I am happy to link Lena Turner to her parents. Check to see if I did it correct and if not let me know. If you want to do more I could transfer ownership to you. You asked how I am related to this Turner family. My wife's great grandfather, William C. Turner, is a brother to Paul Yates Turner. Their father was Elijah Thomas Turner. I would like to correspond with you on the Turner family. Send me an email to my email address listed on my member site.
