Hello, I noticed your memorial of Thomas Jerome Thurman, I believe he is the same person that I created in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL, Thomas Jerome Thurman #95031335. He is my husbands grandfather and do know he is buried at Holy Cross. Are you related to the Thurman's?Thanks, Sherri

Larry Dean
John Clausen, Sr.
Hello Lisa,
I think we had some correspondence several years ago when I was researching the Clausen family. John Clausen, Sr., is my gg grandfather. I had been hoping to find a photo of him to include in the First Minnesota regimental history, which has since been published without any mention of him.
I know that he was wounded severely at Gettysburg and spent many months in recovery, and suffered the rest of his life as a result of his injuries.
Do you know if any photo of him exists? I would love to have one, not only for myself, but to post at the website of the First Minnesota Regiment.
Thank you for your good work.

Mons Andreas Monson
Oops....*g*...I just checked again...and saw his name......where I got his middle name from is his WWI registration. I know on the stone it said H....however the birthdates and others info on the registration matched him, and so I used Andreas as his middle name as stated on that registration. If this is something that he changed in later life and you'd like me to change it....just let me know!

Thank you,
Lovise

Agnes & Ira Searle
Hi Lisa,

I noticed that you have added photos to the Find A Grave memorial for Agnes Charlotte (Olson) Searle and Ira James Searle. I am wondering if you are in some manner related to Agnes and Ira. The reason for my question is that I am currently doing research on the Searle family.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

All the best,
Mike

Herman Meyer Blumberg
Hi Lisa,

You requested a photo for Herman Meyer Blumberg at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Georgia. If you can find the location of the grave, I'll be happy to look for it. I'd rather you didn't give them my name as I think I'm better working incognito. It is one of the cemeteries that doesn't welcome Findagravers.

Lisa, I can't tell you how happy I am to hear that you want the picture. I had contacted others in the past but never received a reply concerning it. I am off work due to a sprained ankle but hope to return later next week, hopefully by May 15th. I'll get the picture right out to you when I get back and I'm happy to know it's "back in the family." Thanks, Linda

Thomas Jefferson Nix
Hi Lisa, I came across your memorial for Thomas Jefferson NIX #76468008. I am not related to the family but about 10+ years ago was given a beautiful 8 x 10 marriage picture of Eunice M.(Nix)SMITH that someone came across in a sale and donated to our genealogical archive.
Through extensive research I have determined she is the granddaughter of your Thomas Jefferson NIX.
I have been trying for years to make a connection to a living family member who might want the picture. Would you or someone else in your family be interested in having the picture? I'll be happy to send it to you upon request. Please let me know asap. Thanks,

Holcombe photos
you have posted some photos of my grandmother Dottie Ethel Butler Holcombe and my aunt Ethyle Holcombe Smith. I note that the photos appear to be from Willow Springs MO in 1953 at the fiftieth wedding anniversary of my grandparents Fort and Dottie Holcombe. There is also a photo of my aunt when she was a bit younger. Do you have any more of these photos? and more importantly how are you related to the Holcombe family? I would like to be in touch. Thank you.

Elisha Ford Baskett
Lisa,
Thank you for taking the pictures in the McFall Cemetery. I really appreciate the close up. The stone you documented is for Elisha's parents however. Would you be willing to move them to his parents Elisha M. Baskett (39160033) and Zerelda Baskett (39159997)? It is possible there is not marker for Elisha Ford Baskett.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Blake Shannon
Hello!
There are actually 2 photos & 2 names for the Shannon Memorial Cemetery. I may have already answered this but just in case...."Shannon Memorial Cemetery" and "Pine Cemetery" are the same cemetery.
(It's right on the road-side of Hill Top Rd.)
Mercer Co., W.V.,U.S.A.
* PLEASE NOTE *
There are no markers or gravestones for;
Henry S. Gore (b.July 7,1827 d.April 10,1876)
Adeline B. Keatley-Gore-French-Hare(b.1830 d.1921)
Alabama Lilly-Shannon (b.1-27-1892 d.4-18-1941)
They may not be buried here unless there is proof otherwise. Pictures of the cemetery, I added.
