RE: Sarah M Wolf Standefer
Thank you for all the research for this memorial. I have transfered it to you since you seem to have done so much to provide information. I hope Sarah is also your kin.

I get frustrated with people who suggest changes to my entries that do not add to the information I have already provided; instead only request I make a change which I cannot verify the change's vality.

There is no marker. The grave is where the white flowers are. I put that information in the caption for the picture. Unfortunately, you can't see the caption unless you click on the picture. I'm always disappointed when there's no marker, but I try to make it clear where the grave is when I can.

Rooks/Fairview Cemetery
Hi Paula, I added photos for all the Rooks that were in the ROOKS-ZURBORG Plot. Charles E. Rooks (1919-1998) was not in Find A Grave, so I added him. If you will look at the caption under the PLOT photo I have tried to show you where everyone is buried. Thanks, Judy Sien

RE: Cooper, Mack & Peterson photos
Paula, you are very welcome. I will run over to Elmwood later in the week when the gloomy rainy weather stops and look for your Petersons. If you need any other Elmwood photos, please don't hesitate to ask. I enjoy going over there, it's a very peaceful place. My husbands family are all buried there, so I can go visit for a bit and take some pictures, too. :) sheila

Alice and Buck Jones
Okay, I figured it out. I added the photos for Alice on the wrong entry. I had added it to the one that had unknown birth and death. I have corrected my error. I deleted them from the unknown entry and added them to the correct one. Thank you for letting me know. Judy

Elmwood and Marquette KS
Hey, Paula I just added several photos from your want list in McPherson county. I do not think there is a headstone in Marquette for Cornelia Mack. If you still need Emma, George and Robert Peterson from Elmwood, please let me know and I will run over one warm day next week and snap those for you.

RE: Scott & Standifer Families, Youngs Prairie, McDade, Oak hill
Some of the Scott relatives are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery and there is an association for that. they have an annual cleanup and picnic around May every year. i don't actually belong to it, but i get their newsletter.

I dont know about Youngs Prairie having an association. i have at least 10 direct ancestors buried there.

The common thinking about Elizabeth Standifer is that she was buried in Hogeye Cemetery, but that is now a lost cemetery. It was apparently located not far from Youngs Prairie. I dont have any idea where David Scott was buried. I wish I did. they're my ancestors as well.

Feel free to send me an email, I'd love to trade information on the family with you.

Hi Paula, On one of the two graves I saw on the spreadsheet only indicated "INF" the other one did not show anything, but they are side by side. I will be going back out there later this week. I will try to tell you where the cemetery is located. When you leave Elgin southbound on Hwy 95 you go to Hwy 2336 (McDade) about 7 or 8 miles. Turn left(only way to turn) and go to Oak Hill Cemetery Rd. Turn right and go about a mile and cemetery is on the left. Some of it is kept up pretty good and other parts not so good. Whenever you get to this part of the country, let me know and I will take you there. Hope this info helps!

Hi Paula, After I got home, I was looking at the spreadsheet and found two Infant Graves. (D-1-20 and 21) I will go back tomorrow and see if they have headstones. The cemetery is pretty well maintained, but there are so many unmarked graves. Someone goes out there and cleans around all the graves frequently. Alice and Buck's stones were done by hand. If you enlarge the photo you can see them pretty good. I enjoy being able to find the graves and take the photos. Undine "Judy" Sien

Emma Pentecost
You are very welcome. Emma's husband Alvin is there next to her and Daisy and Charley Pentecost are next to them. Would you like those pictures also, or was it just Emma you wanted?

Glad I could help!
