Thank you so much for transferring my grandmother's memorial over to me. I will enjoy putting together a history of her life. And it feels good to see her linked in with all her generations. Have a wonderful day!

Ed McKnight
Leslie E. Crouter
Regarding the birth date for Leslie, which is missing, I have it; It's 12-6-1900. I knew him for many years in Helena, Mt. We were both Amateur Radio Operators and operated International Morse (code). His call sign was W7CT. Les served in the US Navy during WWII as a Lt. Commander. He retired from Ma Bell in Helena, Montana.

I am a Navy veteran and would like to see his birthdate displayed in his information out of respect for him and his service to his country.

Thank you for all the work you do,

Ed McKnight

Margaret C Cowles
RE: Infant son Cowles
I must have read it wrong...thought the stone said "ae 16" Well, forgive an old lady's eyes.

Well, you must know by now that all the Cowles families in the US are inter-related.

Pardon me while I look and see where we fit together. LOL

Okay. Bela Cowles is a first cousin 5x removed from my late husband Bob. I'll let you figure out how that makes you & Bob related. LOL

I am curious
I am curious if you know if Freda was married to a Joseph Kirk? Joseph Kirk was my great grandfather. My 81 year old grandmother saw this link and was interested in it.
Thank you,

BELL @ Forestvale
THANKS, Tami, for your kind, generous transfer. I've linked George to wife, Mamie, but I wondered if their markers were adjacent. Should I make a pic request to get such a shot? Bill

RE: Henroid/Henriod
A lot of the headstones are spelled both ways (oi and io) too. I have seen members of the same family spell it both ways.

Added by Beeswax on Dec 17, 2013 12:29 PM

RE: Henroid/Henriod
Eugene A. Henriod was my great great grandfather.

Henriod (io) was the correct spelling. It was frequently spelled Henroid, even by family members because that was the way they pronounced it here in America. I have even seen it spelled both ways in the same obituary.
